wattsup Posted 14 May 2019 Posted 14 May 2019 Has anyone successfully changed seats in recent seasons ? My dad and I have season tickets in SK3, behind the goal, we love the view, but we are right in the middle of a long row and immediately behind a stair well. Ideally we would like to move nearer the end of a row for easier access as my dad finds it harder now to be getting in and out and climbing over seats is not ideal Does anyone know how many seats usually become available to choose from , is it just those seats that are not renewed by current season ticket holders ? Or do the club make other seats available for you to move to ? Any information would help us decide whether it's worth bothering with this or not
Aylestone Fox Posted 14 May 2019 Posted 14 May 2019 From past experience they're usually quite accommodating providing where you want to move to isn't already taken of course.

Managed to get row ended seats for easy access. I expect it wouldnt be much of a problem, as there are tonnes of seats to be sold for individual match tickets. I imagine that STH get a pick of the Stadium and then the remaining seats just go on general sale. Obviously the price will vary, ours increased when we changed.
UniFox21 Posted 14 May 2019 Posted 14 May 2019 If you look on the website, believe around the start of June, they open up relocation for season ticket holders, where there's a weekend for people to go in and swap seats for those not renewed. Would be worth popping in then or even emailing in advance, Jim is usually really helpful when you get in touch with him.

Rusko187 Posted 14 May 2019 Posted 14 May 2019 Ring up ticket office, they'll tell you to call back when all Season Ticket holders period of renewal has gone by. From there you can contact them again and request where to move to, you'll be charged the rate for the new seat... sorted.

Easier to go into the store during the relocation window (14-17th June). You can relocate to any of the seats which are not ST allocated. So in theory the several thousand which are released for match by match tickets. You can view on a screen and pick the ones you want. they charge £5 for each change. Obviously if your new seat is more expensive, they will adjust your DD upwards to suit.
Christoph Posted 14 May 2019 Posted 14 May 2019 Yes i've moved seats twice. Was sitting behind the goal for 1 season, then moved to SK1 up near the top standing up for 3 seasons and then to SK2 in the corner sat back down. Now we're looking back at moving to SK1 because sitting down and cranking your neck all game is worse than standing up all game.
rachhere Posted 14 May 2019 Posted 14 May 2019 Very slightly going off topic... I wish they had hand holds up the stairs for people to hold onto to steady themselves (the sort where you just have a hand grip on every other step rather than a complete handrail like on the stairs). The number of people I see with mobility problems struggling up and down them, when all they need is something to make sure they can keep their balance. I would hate to think people give up on coming because they don't feel safe to do so.
foxinsocks Posted 14 May 2019 Posted 14 May 2019 There's a bloke in our row with a very sensitive bladder. .. his record is 8 minuites from ko. I would like him relocated to the toilets.. or to be catheterised
MGLCFC Posted 14 May 2019 Posted 14 May 2019 On a separate note, can anyone help with this. My son is moving abroad with his mum. Can I upgrade his season ticket from junior to adult for my brother?
lmtiazLCFC4LIFE Posted 14 May 2019 Posted 14 May 2019 Will we be able to relocate online during the season ticket relocation period or do we need to call them or go into the fanstore to get this done?

I posed this question to lcfc help so I'll see what they say! Hopefully it can be done online otherwise it's an inconvenience because over the phone you can't see exactly where you're sitting and going into the fanstore is an inconvenience too!

I think it is either over the phone or in store, if I recall correctly. I'm not sure if online is an option
