LinekersApples Posted 23 June 2019 Posted 23 June 2019 Bless him. Let’s hope that 80k a week is softening the blow for him.

kushiro Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Japan 1 Ecuador 1 Shinji started for Japan again. Really enjoyed watching him in the first half, realising again just what an intelligent player he is. When Japan had the ball he was winning free kicks and generally linking the play. When the opposition had it was blocking passing lanes, stopping them building attacks and generally making a nuisance of himself. Second half Ecuador were on top and Shinji came off after 65 minutes. Japan needed to win to go through and face Brazil in the quarter finals, so Shinji'll need to be selected agin next season to move up on the all time list of international caps for Leicester players: Shilton 125 Zagorakis 120 Okazaki 119 He's achived his main target at this tournament though - putting himself in the shop window and showing interested clubs that he's still an effective player a this level.
LinekersApples Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Nothing to do with our players, but the group F table looks like a challenge fro the krypton factor in which you have to rotate shapes to get from one flag to the next.
Lambert09 Posted 26 June 2019 Posted 26 June 2019 Another 90 and win for the big bad wilf. I wonder if he will be able to play in our opening game, if they make it all the way to the final. Vardy was benched after a similar situation last season (and he barely kicked a ball)

LinekersApples Posted 30 June 2019 Posted 30 June 2019 A shock win for Madagascar over Nigeria sends them top of the group. Their King was overjoyed during an interview on BT sport. ”Gone are the days of defensive frailties and cautious football. Our players now like to get on the ball and express themselves. They like to move it.....move it. They like to move it, move... etc (until shot with a tranquilliser)
Lambert09 Posted 1 July 2019 Posted 1 July 2019 A goal and an assist for Slimani... theyre still playing as well
The whole world smiles Posted 10 July 2019 Posted 10 July 2019 Wilf in good form for Nigeria as they go into the Semis of the ACON. Would love to see him lift it.
Aus Fox Posted 11 July 2019 Posted 11 July 2019 Big Wilf has only gone and got himself a semi! Come on lad, finish the job then come here with all the confidence in the world ready to storm the league.

We we could do with the pair of them at Chelsea on the 18th. He won’t be ready though.
