Have we had the compo for him yet? If not, it's rising with every first team appearance

Don't think we have. Think I read somewhere that Liverpool are trying to settle it without a tribunal, but we've not agreed on a price.

Kasper on The Fozcast again

Not too much about Leicester. He was asked to comment on our relegation, and dithered and couldn't really give reasons as to why we went down (fair enough seeing as he wasn't playing for us). I did notice Albrighton had acted in a similar way during podcasts. I get the sense they may be keeping quiet about something that had gone on that season.

Pure speculation of course, but this is FoxesTalk.

Andy Lochhead, born on March 9, 1941, in Milngavie, Scotland, was a powerful and prolific center-forward who made his mark in English football during the 1960s and 1970s. Known for his aerial dominance and physical presence, Lochhead began his career at Burnley, where he became a fan favorite. He scored over 100 goals for the club, playing a key role in their domestic campaigns and European ventures, including their participation in the 1960–61 European Cup.
Lochhead later enjoyed successful stints with Aston Villa, Oldham Athletic, and Leicester City, showcasing his goal-scoring prowess at each club. At Aston Villa, he was instrumental in their promotion to the First Division in 1972. Renowned for his commitment and reliability, Lochhead’s career is remembered fondly by fans for his consistency and knack for scoring crucial goals. His legacy remains an inspiration to footballers who value determination and hard work.

I recall a game where we were absolutely shite Andy was the sub and there was a universal spontaneous rendition by the whole crowd of Andy, Andy Lochhead etc. to get him on the pitch.

Can someone settle an argument/discussion.  In my mind im pretty sure i went to leicester v arsenal at filbo around 94 and ormondroyd scored from a tight angle against seaman at kop end.  Cant find it on youtube or anywhere.  Is my memory playing tricks?  Im sure this happened.  Help!

We beat them 2:1 on 23/11/94 he played but he never scored.

Our goals came from an OG and David Lowe, Wright scored a pen for them

The home game in 94 against Arsenal which Ormondroyd played in ended in a 2-1 win with Lowe scoring the winner.  Arsenals goal was scored by Ian Wright with our opener being scored by...  UNCONFIRMED! :D On wikipdia it says Seaman OG, but other sources, like Premierleague.com and Transfermarkt have it down as an Andy Linighan OG.

From what I can see Ormandroyd didn't score for the entire 94/95 season.

It was the first match post Little walking out. Allan Evans was in charge before he resigned immediately afterwards to go and join him at Villa.

Ormondroyd scored our opener from right on the byline, it deflected off Linighan and Seaman sort of palmed it into the net.

It got changed to an og. a couple of days later by the "dubious goals" panel

Rodney Alan Fern (13 December 1948 – 16 January 2018) was an English professional footballer known for his role as a striker. Born in Leicester, Fern began his career at 'Leicester City' but made his mark in the lower leagues of English football, playing for a number of clubs. He was a key figure at 'Darlington', where he enjoyed a productive spell, and later played for 'Lincoln City' and 'Scunthorpe United', where his goal-scoring abilities were widely recognized. Fern's time in the Football League was marked by his hardworking style of play, and he became known for his aerial ability and physical presence in the box.
After leaving the Football League, Fern continued his career in non-league football, where he remained a prolific goal scorer. Throughout his career, he earned a reputation as a reliable forward, capable of scoring vital goals for his teams. His contributions on the pitch, particularly at 'Scunthorpe United', helped him maintain a lasting legacy in the clubs where he played. Fern passed away on 16 January 2018, leaving behind a career that spanned the English football pyramid, from the top divisions to non-league football, and was remembered for his dedication to the game.

Maybe they are just terribly embarrassed by it all. And rightly so as for most of them it will be the only blotch on an otherwise good career at the top level.

If there’s anything else more sinister or whatever then our only hope is that it comes out in a few decades time when we’ve all forgotten.
