Completely agree. Perez was our best player by a decent distance. No idea what game everyone else watched.

Agree. At the moment Albrighton has the same score as Perez, and he only played about 10mins.

haha glad i wasn't the only one. genuinely thought i'd spent the whole game confusing him with someone else when i saw his score. he was the only one who looked like he actually knew what he was doing for about an hour, instead of just passing it straight to their midfielders like everyone else.

I hate saying it but if I could have given Chilwell less than 1 I would have. He may as well have just stayed at home tonight. Utterly ****ing useless.

Thought Soyuncu was excellent again. Evans solid. Hamza classy when he came on. Perez was the best of the lot, closely followed by Ricardo.

crikey, i thought perez was comfortably the best of our starting eleven. never mind.

He was…. People vote using muscle memory as opposed to judging what they’ve actually seen…

Indeed. You have to wonder what Soyunchu and Evans did today to be rated better than Perez... both were fine but had **** all to do. But people rate Soyunchu and Evans better because they've had  better seasons and so have to prove themselves less than Perez does to get a good rating and have to have a much poorer game to have a poor rating..

It always takes several consecutive poor performances for a for a well liked player to have those performances reflected, or several consecutive good performances from a disliked player to start having their good performances reflected. Perez is currently midway through that latter category

The only positive thing to say about Tielemans is that one of his teammates was worse than he was. Chilwell was utter garbage from start to finish (as, alas, he generally is in the big games).

Subs Choudhury and Iheanacho were our most effective players, while Ricardo, as ever, was very good. Perez had one of his better games but it’s about time he scored at home and I’d have expected Vardy to score at least one of his chances. Fortunately Nacho showed them the way with a class finish.

You say that but it takes a certain type of skill to be repeatedly given the ball near the opponents box, yet to cunningly find a way to consistently pass it back to your players in the centre circle...

Ricardo & Perez 8s as both kept on trying to push for a goal.

Soyuncu & Evans 7s as both were solid and had to deal with diving Villa players.

Kasper 6 might have done better for their goal.
Praet 6 huffed & puffed but didn’t really produce much.

Fuchs 6 didn’t dive In this game, plays well in the 3 but restricted in going forward.

Maddison 6 very nearly outshone Grealish, if only those 2 chances went in.

Vardy 6 no service to him, tough playing against 10 defenders.

Tielemans 3 definitely struggling for some reason, so many poor passes.

Chilwell 1 the lads confidence has gone, worst game for us in ages, needs divine intervention.

Subs...

Choudhury 8 marvellous when he came on, lifted us and he has to start more games.

Iheanacho 8 great goal, starting to look the part and works well with Vardy.

Albrighton 6 tried his best against a packed defence, always looks to cross...

Rodgers, great substitutions but got the team wrong for this game, got to go for it at Villa with a back 4 and Vardy & Iheanacho up top...

Up the City...:scarf:

Perez indeed had a good game, but it’s a reflection of how pedestrian he’s been for much of the season that some you would rate it as a great game.

Meanwhile, Ricardo was from start to finish our best player by some margin IMHO - a veritable lesson in consistency! Good to see almost everyone picking up (Perez, Nacho, etc).

3% voted manager to leave?:S

I wonder whether there ought to be a score for the manager here rather than just a ‘stay’ or ‘go’. For instance, Rodgers could have scored a 2 or a 3 for the Liverpool game, without anyone having to pretend they think he should be sacked... Or a 4 or 5 for this game and likewise...
