Anyone have any experience with this site and/or see anything wrong with the build?

Would appreciate a second opinion before dropping the cheese. Thanks in advance.

I've bought from them about 2 years ago, no issues at all.

As said above, AWD are fine.  Only comment on this is AMD are releasing their RDNA3 cards at 2pm today which are likely to be equivalent to 4080 in performance for about £200 less.  I say this as this means nVidia will likely respond with a price drop shortly so worth holding fire temporarily.

Good system though.

Great shout.

Was eyeballing this too:

Since it's pre-built and ships next day, dropped £100 since this morning. :D

Any opinions on this one please?

CPU is slightly slower, but to such a minor extend you won't notice (probably better tbh as it'll run much cooler and won't be as noisy as the previous one) . Looks good to me, but don't blame me though if nvidia knock a few more £ off the price in the next week! Mind you that sums up PC gaming in a nut shell, there's always an upgrade/discount on the horizon. You'd never buy anything if you kept holding.

How are prices looking atm? Been looking at a gaming pc for about 18 months now but having the spare cash due to moving and also the price has put me off, have things cooled down or are higher prices the new norm (at least for the next few years anyway).

Need the whole package, monitor, keyboard, mouse, pc itself, and probably want to spend around 1.5k. Games I want to play are like Fallout 4, Skyrim, Witcher 3, Euro Truck Sim etc. but want to heavily mod them.

Best thing in the world has been the lad moving out so I now have an office/gaming room. LEDs/beer store, backlit shelves, comfy chair, desk full of gadgets - it’s so much joy in one place I may never venture anywhere else in the house except for the toilet.

Probably a long shot, but one gaming PC per day is being given away by Fierce.

There’s a pop-up to enter your email on their website https://www.fiercepc.co.uk/ and you can do a retweet and follow on their Twitter.

Oh well, no free new computer for me. Looks like I'll have to plan on buying a desktop in 2023...unless I wait for next Xmas' comp.

Last of us on pc, diablo 4, finally a new armored core after a decade.

Imma need a new pc. And maybe a new console. God damn.

Try Steam Deck... Best of both worlds

Arrrrgh!

Spent the entire day attempting to get any controller I posses to be recognised by the Xbox cloud app on the laptop. They all work find in Steam, the app works fine on the Steam Deck, but nothing I've done can get the PC app to recognise that there's a controller plugged in to the computer.

I'm remembering why I ditched computer gaming all those years ago and went console.

Anyone been playing the Steam version of Dwarf Fortress?  It's sensational.  Had Elden RIng as my GOTY, but this thing has walked it.

Started getting a bit of double clicking with my Razer Deathadder Elite after nearly 4 years

Any recommendations for a replacement?

Still quite tempted to get another Razer with how well this one has served me

What's your budget? Logitech are the ones, unless you go down the rabbit hole.

Had a G502 for years with no complaints.

Working on the Mac and having the PS5 competing with the wife's TV habits resulted in me playing very little over the last couple of years. Rigging up a monitor to the rarely switched on Predator laptop has really got me back into the swing - especially once I hooked up an X to it too. Really fancy getting a desktop in now to replace the Mac for work - so I guess getting a gaming one wouldn't be a bad idea.

So, my question is: does anyone reckon prices of the 3080 prebuilds are going to drop over the next couple of months?

Are you bothered about it being wireless? Try looking at the Logitech G502 or G Pro, both are great mice.
