It any good? I hope not as I've currently got...

Hitman Freelance

Destiny Lightfall (Tuesday)

Hogwarts Legacy

Company of Heroes 3

Kerbal 2 (also Tuesday)

Really don't want to add to that list!

No idea - but it’s free so I’m getting it

Have you played any CoH3? I'm tempted as when I did play the original I was too young/thick to understand what I was doing but now I think I've got enough CRPGs and tactics games under my belt to have a vague idea. It seems to have done quite well critically and yet mixed Steam reviews with many concluding it's basically unfinished have given me pause.

Yeah it's good, very similar to the previous ones with a far more engaging campaign. I have spotted a few bugs so would hold off for them to get fixed and for the price to come down a bit.

Took the plunge on Friday.

AMD Ryzen 7 5700X Eight Core CPU (3.4GHz-4.6GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)
ASUS® ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s) - ARGB Ready!
32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3600MHz (4 x 8GB)
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060 Ti - HDMI, DP, LHR
500GB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 3500MB/R, 3200MB/W)
2TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-III 3.5" HDD, 6GB/s, 7200RPM, 256MB CACHE
CORSAIR 850W RMx SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 (120mm) Fan CPU Cooler Black Edition

I have never had a gaming PC before, so had to get my bro to help me out. Bought a 27inch 1440 144HZ monitor, keyboard and mouse this morning too. Just gotta sort a desk out now and we're all set. Thoughts?

Nice, hope you enjoy. Motherboard, GPU and CPU very similar to my own 1440p PC, though admittedly the latter two are recent purchases still sitting in their boxes as I'm the world's least practical man and terrified of breaking everything in the process of installing them. Is that a prebuilt or parts bought separately?

Pre-built mate, PC Specialist, should be on it's way to me by Friday. I have zero idea about gaming PCs had to get my brother to help me out picking parts etc. I am the same as you, I would rather do an overtime shift at work and pay someone else to build it for me than do it wrong or break something trying to do it. I'll probably give any future upgrades a go myself though.

Wife still believes that I needed my custom build for work. All I have to do is make sure a word doc is open on it every now and then and she believes all computers have pretty lights inside them even if they don’t have glass sides.

Looks good to me! Always happy to see anyone on the 1440p 144Hz. 4K gaming makes me twitch when I see it.

I've got 10 Steam keys for games that I will almost certainly never touch:

Mindustry

Garbage

Serial Cleaner (the first one, not the sequel Serial Cleaners)

Doodle Derby

Switchball HD

Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic

OUTBUDDIES DX

The Wild Eight

Slime-san

Autonauts

All free to a good home, PM if you're interested in any.

Just started playing Divinity: Original Sin 2. Never thought it would be my kind of game but I'm really enjoying it.

It's a superb game. Doing another run through with a friend and it's even better coop.

Probably the right place for this. Possibly pulling the trigger on an upgrade later today and will have some parts spare that I don’t fancy pissing about with Facebook marketplace chancers with. For that reason I’m looking to sell the following as a bundle -

AMD 5600x

32GB DDR4 RAM - believe it’s running at 3000mhz as two of the sticks are at a higher frequency.

Stock Cooler

ASUS b450m-a ii motherboard

Scan UK case - it’s not a good case, but good enough to get someone started

Looking for £175 and maybe a little to cover delivery.

If anyone’s interested then reply here or drop me a message.

Well, the 5600x I have has been solid. It’s only iRacing in VR or flight sims where the cpu starts to hold my 3070ti back, so I’ve gone for a 7800X3D, which required a new motherboard, cooler and DDR5 memory. What I’ve read online regarding the jump from the 5600x and 7800X3D has got me all nerdy and excited :revenge:

Got the 7800X3D myself and it's superb, you'll enjoy it!

Lmao the steam awards with some hilarious results this year.

RDR2 gets the labour of love award. Rockstar have done no development on it or it's online mode for two years or more hahaha.

And most innovative gameplay goes to Space Skyrim lol lol lol lol
