Issue appears to be that UEFA want the UK government to waive the 10-day quarantine rule (5 days with a negative test) for visiting fans and UEFA bigwigs. Can't see it being popular with the public if the government allow it, while they still have to follow the rules.

If it comes down to waiving quarantine for UEFA dignitaries - people who contribute absolutely nothing of value to the tournament - or moving it somewhere else then we should just tell them to move it.

 

We’ve just had a 4 week delay in making a big step towards normality because the government put commercial interests above the enforcement of its own principles. Hopefully they’ve learned their lesson.

I thought orban's government was great in human rights!!!?!?? After all Hungary are in the eu and must be a great place for human rights!
