Would be interesting to see what other fans are talking about (hope it doesn't infringe any laws here)

For instance, the Man City lot talking about the game yesterday - looks like a Fox has gone there to make their point:

Isn't this what the "Do they mean us" threads were originally intended to be for?

It was however, there have also been people who complain that that thread should be used for articles about us instead. I thought it was always a mixture of the two.

This is actually a really good resource, perhaps the mods could think about pinning it in some fashion so it doesn't get buried as the thread wanes?

Cheers I noticed one on another forum a while back and the post above reminded me of it.

Currently in the hospital looking after my youngest boy at the moment so I’m sure I can top up the other forums eventually:P

I tend to find a lot of them say the same things as us, but some (especially those so used to success i.e Man city) have a very large ego. The amount of Man city fans demonising the lcfc fans for being happy about the community shield win.

A nice little morning boost from reading the Forest forum this morning.

I had forgotten they existed for a minute but saw the awful start to the season they've had. Could be headed back where they came from.

Reading the Toons forum, for the most part they are optimistic (understandably) about getting a result against us. Our dodgy defence and inability to defend set pieces has not gone unnoticed. The surprising thing is they really rate Perez, and would love to sign him back.

not that surprising when you compare the stats

Productivity

Leicester

Newcastle

Games played

87

87

Goals

12

26

Assists

9

9

Although it seems like we're mostly using him where he did best at Newcastle

Perez played in a variety of positions throughout his tenure on Tyneside; in the early days under Alan Pardew and John Carver, he was given the unforgiven task of leading the frontline on his own despite his tender age.

His role in the side evolved to one of a support striker during the Championship, playing behind Dwight Gayle - who possessed a more ruthless streak in front of goal.

Eventually, Benitez found a system that worked best for his compatriot, deploying Perez on the right of a potent front three alongside Saloman Rondon and Miguel Almiron.

This was the Spaniard’s most productive spell at Newcastle as he scored eight goals in 18 top-flight games and, ultimately, sealed his transfer to Leicester in the process.

Rodgers has continued to use Perez on the right for the Foxes, which suggests his poor form might be a confidence issue rather than a tactical one…
