Oh dear!

In hindsight Levell should have come for that.

We’re not being outplayed like the Man Utd game but we are gifting them chances.

Are there any financial restrictions in the WSL on how much we can invest in the team?

...not quite what you are looking  for but!!!

An important consideration for clubs that does not exist in the men’s game is the need to comply with salary caps. According to the WSL and Women’s Championship Competition Rules (the second tier competition), “The FA has introduced these Salary Cap Regulations in order to help regulate the financial expenditure of each Club participating in the Competitions”. There is a real focus on ensuring financial sustainability and self-sufficiency for the WSL clubs and a salary cap is one way The FA seeks to achieve this.

Levell, McManus and Flint are the only WSL quality players.  The rest are decent Championship but no more.  Recruitment was poor in the summer.

There's probably not a surplus of quality around yet especially as the rich 6 now look to dominate the women's game as they do the men's game. Sadly their names are more attractive then Leicesters considering we've only just arrived.

Our ladies are no where near the required level. West Ham are likely to be at the bottom end of the league  come the end of the season, and they`re not great to be honest, but are still a level higher than our girls.

We binned alot of the squad that stormed the championship last season, but it`s difficult to see how they could be any worse than the newly recruited ladies.

Flint is the only one who looks like she has something about her, but she can be so lazy at times, possibly because she knows she`s wasting her time putting in the effort given whats playing with her.

Alot of investment at ladies level from the club, but most of it wasted on the evidence of the first few games.

Edited to say that i may have been harsh on the Keeper Levell, who looks decent, although i dont think ive seen a keeper have treatment in a game as much as she does.  Didnt she go down and have about 3 lots of treatment in the first game against Villa too.  Maybe an on going injury shes trying to play through.

That’s why I asked about investment. Everyone we come up against seems to be loaded with foreign internationals.

I get the loyalty shown to those who got us promoted but the step up here is massive even in comparison to the Championship/PL in the men’s game.

There wasnt alot of loyalty though was there. Didn`t we bin about 9 of last seasons squad, including Remi Allen, which was completely baffling to me.

It’s a strange one. I guess we went for experience where we need quality.

I didn’t realise Remi Allen had left, I wished her good luck on Twitter ahead of the Villa game then I realised she played for them!

Remi Allen had that experience though didnt she. You would have thought she was a an absolute must keep player.  It was odd.

...something to do with the contracts they  were being offered if I recall!!!

It did seem strange that there could not be a compromise but the new recruits you would have thought would have bought in experience from the big clubs they had(not all) come from.

Maybe it was her choice to leave, but if not it was a dreadful decision to let her go.

Possibly, but if it was money orientated,  would have expected us to offer her a contract that would have kept her here.

If there was a difference of opinion with the management side then i suppose that could have had a bearing on her leaving
