He has a real live for the game so I would expect him to become a player manager.

But he's a freak of nature football wise...still quick ,still terrorising defences , still banging goals in...he'll be here for at least another 3 seasons

I'll tell you something, when he does retire it'll have huge ramifications to some of us. I know no player is bigger than the club and many of us have been obsessed with our club for many many years but he is synonymous with our rebirth and it'll be difficult to stomach us post Vardy and will take a lot of time to adjust.

Assuming he has a testimonial match, I'd imagine it would sell out.

Needs to be at Wembley, made up of a "Big 6 XI" managed by Pep lol

Then he'd score another hat-trick and decide to postpone his retirement.

Hopefully we're in Europe every season and with the other cups have 50-55 matches, I could see a 37 or 38 year old Vardy being around contributing, starting some, coming off the bench for others etc, look at last night, we won a vital game without him despite him being a vital part of our season so far. The only factors are staying fit which I don't see as a problem (so log as we don't have any Villareal-esque nutters in the opposition), his motivation and satisfaction in approaching being a bit-part contributer eventually and the justification in paying for him to be that which I doubt anyone would grumble at.

Although he didn't come through the academy, Vardy is Totti-esque for the club. Even if he can come off the bench for 15 minutes, the club should keep him as long as possible.

He will go down as a legend for this club, our best ever and 1 of only a very few that played for us in the Prem era and are a Prem great NOT just a Leicester great.

Legend is thrown around too much, but there’s not 1 person who would argue that this guy is the GOAT.

He deserves a statue and the new stand being ‘the Jamie Vardy stand’.

Wherw he’s come from, where he’s pushed us and what level he pushed us too will NEVER be topped.

Is argue even if we were bankrolled by a Newcastle like takeover and win multiple leagues/CLs with richest squads in the world, they won’t ever be a bigger legend than JV.

Promoted back to the Prem for the first time in 10 years and he’s the player of the season.

The greatest escape of all time - he was the main reason. Crucial winners at Burnley and West Brom saved us.

Then I won’t ever go into since..

He will be the only player ever that I’ll have a tear in my eye when he retires/leaves us.
