Unquestionably the greatest player ever to pull on the Leicester shirt. Hopefully he won't be retiring for a while yet but when that day does come I hope we all get the chance to give him the send off he deserves.

I just hope we phase him out of the starting XI at the right time, as I'd hate to see him leave or retire in his prime. He's still our best striker, and probably the best striker in the league atm.

It's a devastating thought him not playing for us, but I hope he retires when he's given his all and can't play to our level anymore. The way he's going that could still be 5 seasons away!

A moment like this as Vardy hands his Champions League Hattrick ball to Daka, it’s all yours now kid. Daka knows he has big shoes to fill, but the first game of the following season is WBA away, Daka runs riot and holds his fingers to his lips in Vardy corner - and all is well in the world

Love that photo. It says so much and not just about our club. It has to be made into a statue or some other art work within the new stadium development. Other clubs would be all over this but it seems that we don't celebrate our past nearly enough.

Hopefully we're in Europe every season and with the other cups have 50-55 matches, I could see a 37 or 38 year old Vardy being around contributing, starting some, coming off the bench for others etc, look at last night, we won a vital game without him despite him being a vital part of our season so far. The only factors are staying fit which I don't see as a problem (so log as we don't have any Villareal-esque nutters in the opposition), his motivation and satisfaction in approaching being a bit-part contributer eventually and the justification in paying for him to be that which I doubt anyone would grumble at. Where else would you pick up a world class finisher for no fee and "just" pay their wage, may as well keep the one that works. Beyond that his behind the scenes effect, effect in the community, perhaps a coaching role too. So long as he remembers the club rule, the non playing squad member has to don the Filbert Costume (sorry kids, it is just a costume) on match day and that includes him.

He’ll remain the main man this season before gradually playing less until his contract runs out.

Hoping then he’ll focus on his US team. Would hate to see him play for another English side, imagine him playing for Wednesday and us drawing them in a cup 🤮🤮🤮

It's that fear of being just one injury away from the end. The sort of injury that a player in their 20's comes back from but not when you are almost 35. Enjoy watching him whilst we can and be able to say that you saw Jamie Vardy play live. We've been lucky to have him and he'll hopefully stick around when his career is done for a long, long time.

He will replace The Birch when he retires.

Imagine....A warm welcome to the Palace fans whilst imitating the Eagle celebration. He'd be perfect for the role 😂

I think he’ll announce it but will then stay on at the club as a coach or ambassador or something. I can’t see Vardy ever leaving Leicester it’s in his genes…

Which stand at the KP are we renaming The Jamie Vardy Stand?

Just the away corner to remind all the fans he's riled over the years.

Has the type of goal he scores changed from his earlier days?He seemed to score a lot of goals like those of Daka today. The goal against Man U was not like that. Just subtle movement inside the penalty area.

What I mean is. Is he less reliant on sheer pace? If so, he could be here for a lot longer than we think. Hopefully.

Over These last 3 seasons unlike some others, I have Never doubted it..

This Topic alone just Show & proves the too negative Factor & vibes  that run through this forum.

Too many Ft Posters find it easier to be the cynical pessimists....
