Barnes was great first half, we were never in it second half, Lockman took off at the 60 mins mark again.

Daka was lively til hung out to dry after vardy came on

KDH looked OK up to a point but turned donkey

Lookman more suited to forest

Maddison forgot he was back on form

It’s a hard game to rate because the players who had a great first half had a terrible second. 
 

KDH was visibly tired. Understandable as  he hasn’t played a lot. 
 

mads seemed to disappear as soon as the going got tough, something were used to. 
 

I personally think other than a goal Barnes had a poor game. A few smarter calls from him and we could have buried the game. 
 

Daka definitely motm imo, he was a proper nuisance. Shame our manager decided to play him as a rm when we needed a goal

Can't believe Rodgers made the same move today in pushing Daka out wide, that nullified any threat we had against Southampton. Just make the changes at the same time, 15 minutes wasted and made it impossible to work up any momentum.

The problem when Vardy and Perez came is we had no physical players up front at all. At one point we had Barnes, Maddison, Perez and Vardy. What are those guys gonna do against a deep block? Nacho came on way too late. He needs a run of games for me, we miss a physical presence up front

I was going to ask the exact same thing as I don't remember him getting close.

 

He is awful as a sub. Much better starting him and taking him off or not bothering bringing him on at all. This is not meant to put him down as he offers a lot when starting usually
