I think it all started when @Ric Flair found a 'device' with Timmy's mug celotaped to it at the back of his missus' sock drawer.

Our defence has clearly improved since he came in and he's looking much better than Thomas or Justin in that left-back position right now, which is not even his best position. Don't get the clamour to get rid of him at all. He's a good player.

To play devil's advocate, we've improved defensively prior to Castagne's return. See the games vs Burnley, Leeds, Rennes at home etc and I think the biggest concern about Castagne is his fitness and that prior to this recent return, he wasn't thst effective on the left. Got no problem with him staying if a) he wants to - I have a suspicion he harbours a move back to Italy and b) he cab stay fit.

We need to raise funds and some key players may be seen as replaceable and he comes in to that category, whether it would be a mistake is another matter.

Do you honestly believe a player thinks like this, yes i get emotions do come into play we would all like to work with people we really get on with, relationships are struck between players no matter the nationality but to have it as a deciding factor to quit a place of work especially when everyone goes on how short a footballers career is?? Will he follow where Youri & Praet go next, probably not, so why would he move to just be on his own again anyway?

It's naive to assume stuff like that doesn't matter.  Leicester isn't Paris or Venice, and it's not a team that offers CL football.  Having a couple of close friends on the side could very easily have been a motivator for why Castagne chose to come to the Midlands.  Maybe having those guys gone - one of them after having been basically screwed over by the manager - could have a major impact on how keen he is to be there.

You're assuming he's friends with the other Belgians and he's not better friends with some of the non Belgians. Players often move to teams where they don't know anyone.

His phone probably is though. Well, probably an iPhone in truth, but you get the point. Wonderful thing is communication technology. Not to mention shed loads of dosh to visit family and friends for a couple of days!
