How much would a mutual termination cost and could we crowdfund it?

In all Mediterranean countries (Italy, Spain, Greece) when a player (or players) are blatantly underperforming they're fined or even have contract terminations or contract freezes.

Needs evidence as I cannot see how that would be legal.

I'm happy to touch my toes for some lads in Hampstead Heath if you are.

Nope. Fines are the most common discipline measure for underperforming either as a team or individually and the owner has the right to implement them. Most of the times is a percentage taken off wages. For repeating "offenses" the board has the right to terminate or freeze the contract of a player.

Happens regularly in Italy, Spain, Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey.

That feels fraught with problems from a contractual standpoint, do you have any articles that show an example. Would be curious how this can be performed!

Booing your own keeper mid game is absolutely insane levels of toxicity..

Fully deserved.

Most fans with half a brain have been saying this guy shouldn't be ANYWHERE  near our first team for years now.

When hes in the team, we lose, end of.Might nit all be his fault but the repercussions of his sub par standards ripple throughout the whole team.

Just Google it. Hundreds of incidents in the countries I mentioned. For starters google Marinakis fines players of Olympiakos. Then you'll get dozens of results across the Mediterranean countries alongside contract freezes etc.

Surely fines are issued for disciplinary reasons? I am not aware of anything that happens for performing badly which is largely subjective and easy for any legal team to contest. I've not heard of this being a common measure.

He couldn't catch clap in a brothel.

He couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, let alone a defence.

He inspires less confidence in the defence than Stevie Wonder as a minicab driver.

If I were him, I would retire as a millionaire in June. You'd have to be batshit to employ him.

That would cover about 40 quid lol

I'm happy for my arsehole to be the size of Gwent and look like a vat of Quaker Oats if it helps.

I think you’ve thought about this far too much

It's all emotional anguish. At least I might get the odd cuddle after this, though.

Admittedly I get a free drink for watching Ward play.

Well, you're wrong. Atletico has fined several times players for underperforming. Olympiakos, Roma, Lazio have done it hundreds of time. Partizan also. I won't even mention the teams in Turkey. Legal teams can't do anything. You're underperforming and the club has every right to fine you or penalise you with a % off your wages.

Depends what the terms of his contract are.
