OzFox Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 Levein out!!!!!! What a joke the guy is, an unluky draw against the third place team and beating the second place team 4-2. Pathetic. Yeah... so much for the dour, defensive Scot. what a game..wish I was there!
MC Prussian Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 The ten yellow cards are less sweet though... But I really shouldn't criticize the referee in this rare moment of victory... against Sheff Utd!!! HA!
shen Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 6 goals in 2 games....goal scoring problems???? WHAT GOAL SCORING PROBLEMS we have let in 4 though Who gives a fook if we score more than we concede? Didn't we all want a bit of entertainment?
Libertine Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 Absolutely brilliant! Well done lads! But for goodness sake keep it up. Come on!!!
The People's Hero Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 Who gives a fook if we score more than we concede? Didn't we all want a bit of entertainment? Yeah and I'm loving it! I'll give some credit to CL here because he did say he wanted to do something about us scoring more goals and it has happened in the last couple of games. If we could marry that with the watertight defence we had a few games ago, we really would be promotion candidates. So.. some credit to Levein. We're not there yet, but on today's evidence, just perhaps we are beginning to move in the right direction. Massive credit must go to Smith and Hume. Smith had a hand in a lot of positive things by the sounds of it and Hume scored twice. Well done to Elvis for scoring, I'm still unconvinced but it should do his confidence the world of good. I think CL has figured out what we've been saying for ages about our best front 2!
Shauno45 Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 have any of the levein OUT fans view changed? do u now think if we lose to bolton he should go?
The People's Hero Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 My view is as it was. What I will take back is part of what I said about CL being too stubborn to pair Hume and Hammond and to go in to a game looking to score a few goals. I still have some reservations about CL's management and we are by no means the finished article (a lot of people DO seem to think this after each victory) but perhaps we are moving the right way. The simple answer is, we'll see how it goes shall we. One swallow doesn't make a summer (but it can make for a good night) as they say.
Bert Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 This is a very good win for us, but lets not get to carried away lets take it one step at time people.
Blue Arrow Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 Is this the beginning of the turnaround? Yeah but that is the feeling every time we win. I hope it though, i say that every time too
frenchy_lcfc Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 have any of the levein OUT fans view changed? do u now think if we lose to bolton he should go? Im not a Levein OUT Fan! But if we do loose against Bolton we shouldn't give him that much grief! Because dont forget Bolton are a Premiership side also UEFA!! Also well Done Boys today!! Great performance!! I can sense a turn around!!
Collymore Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 Do you know what will impress me the most, If we can keep attacking and not sit on this 2-0, if they get 1 then IT WILL be 2-2, you can count on it. Let's go and win 4-2, come on Leicester/CL, don't sit on this lead PLEASE <_<
The People's Hero Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 This is a very good win for us, but lets not get to carried away lets take it one step at time people. Precisely and well said! Fingers crossed though....
supedaj Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 well done lads - a big win for us. Excellent result and really pleased for hume hammond and smith. Lets hope CL sticks with them now ...
Anish Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 Fantastic result, never in my wildest of imagination would I have expect this! Sounds like a terrific performance, I wish I was there now. Levein does deserve some credit because scoring 4 goals is tremendous, and I'm so glad that Hume got a couple! That sort of performance has definitely made me more likely to go to the next one, I just hope we can keep this level of performance up.
Libertine Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 I hate Colin W*nker so much! That makes the victory/thumping ever so sweeter.
Milky Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 fock OFF WARNOCK! WARNOCK fock OFF! i actually feel good on a saturday evening. i've always said i'll judge CL at the end of the season. he has been frustrating me with his team selections and tactics, but fair play to him for today, let's hope it continues.
Milky Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 Well, why does barber cheer like we've scored, he's a T**T, cheer when you see the net buldge gimp head lol lol. i couldn't agree with you more. he is such a tosser. it drives me mad listening to him every game.
frenchy_lcfc Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 I just hope he starts Hammond and Hume again!! In our next match!!! So it can prove to him that you dont always need De vries up front!!!
Libertine Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 I just hope he starts Hammond and Hume again!! In our next match!!! So it can prove to him that you dont always need De vries up front!!! Hume's cuptied though. <_<
martyn Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 Excellent result and credit to the players for not collapsing at 2-1. 2 things to come out of today, Hume must now be the first striker on the team sheet and please can we have Smith for the rest of the season Arsene?
MC Prussian Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 Wheres that put us in the table? We're now 14th with 24 points and a -1 goal difference, one point behind QPR (-7) and three behind Southampton (+5). We still have one game in hand, though.
The People's Hero Posted 26 November 2005 Posted 26 November 2005 Sh it. I'd forgotten that. Nevermind, de Vries played a blinder at Charlton in the cup last season. Perhaps he'll be up for the cup, as it were.
