Having seen Big Wes, Andy King and Kasper all leave the club in recent years, I was wondering, do we not do testimonials?

 

I can't remember us ever doing one (started supporting in 1996)

I remember going to Steve Walsh's testimonial. Not sure what year it was.

Morgan deserved one as he retired and didn't get straight into other commitments with other clubs like King and Kasper.

 

Although it was during lockdown restrictions, so that might have been a reason

Im sure the official site said they were planning on arranging a testimonial for King once lockdown was over and fans were allowed back but it never happened

Inability to honour club legends appropriately is just something else we can add to the list of incompetent things this club does.

Club aren't bothered about history, you only have to look at the state of Filbert Street to know that. It's all about the here and now.

I think that modern testimonials have been in aid of charity. Gives the player and fans a chance to say farewell.

Shocking that so many greats have left with little fan fare. Add it to the long list of things the club get abhorrently wrong.

Went to Tommy Williams one in the 80's Gary Lineker came back & played think it was Leicester past vs Leicester present at the time.
