This years should have been The Sim - Rumbling. That song blew the internet when it was released. Though it relates to Attack on Titan (Anime) So a bit of a niche market. That song is amazing

Love threads like this. Hopefully we get to see the following:

• Era snobs who only like music from when they were younger and think anything produced since is rubbish
• Genre snobs who only like a certain type of music and think anything produced that's not in that genre is rubbish
• Ignorant types who won't like a certain song being top, either because they have a favourite from that same year, or simply haven't heard it

Music is fantastically subjective and the tribalism about it is genuinely fascinating. Not every song is for every one and maybe it's because I just have very little interest in the music industry, but if you don't like a song, it doesn't mean it's crap for everyone?
