After all the crap we endured beginning of the season I said give the bloke a chance then the crap we’re dealing with now his constant bullshit press talks blaming everything but himself, I’m sorry to say it’s time for a change it’s time for Rodgers to be relieved of his position time to bring in Dyche til the end of the season.

We just can’t keep going on like this it looks at times as if the players have given up playing for him the way we play at the back giving the ball away so easily etc etc etc, we need to bring in someone with new ideas a manager who brings in confidence to his players not blame the players  a manager that will save our League place who will bring in players that can be proud of wearing the Blue shirt of Leicester City players who compete is that too much to ask as a fan of our great club who we support longer than any manager or player has been here our club i for one hope the board have the balls to remove Brendan and bring in a manager to make us proud of this great club again !

I am not a Rodgers hater. I respect what he has done with us and probably stayed with the Rodger's IN camp longer than most.

However, I am just so bored of our football club at the moment. I don't get the same rush before games.

He is not the only issue. The ownership has dropped off quite significantly too. However, Top has earned more benefit of the doubt IMO.

I also feel like Leicester achieved more than I ever dreamed possible, and what now? Everything now seems like a downward trend.

Rodgers also seems like he has checked out and has notepad of excuses always ready for when he is questioned on the poor performances.

I think it is inevitable that he will go soon. I am not too concerned with the will he, or won't he part. It's the what comes next which is concerning.

Is Top still capable of investing in the squad to the level required to maintain a Top 8 club OR is the plan to just survive and avoid the drop now?

Rodgers needs to go, that is certain. I just hope that whatever comes next, reignites this amazing club and gets us all excited again!

I don't think the owners will pull the trigger on him just yet  !!!

I think they are  hoping that we can somehow avoid relegation and some kind of mutual deal made in the Summer.

I think the clubs financial situation is worse than we think & they can't afford to let him go.

Well first things first that’s the first time in my life I’ve not been labelled a pervert so that’s a positive on a personal level but on the football side this is all about who’s going to break first Rodgers or top I think there has been a falling out a while back and it’s quite childish because it’s all about who’s going to look more stupid on one hand I really don’t feel top wants it to be this way maybe he is playing a dangerous game of your not getting a sweet payoff because that’s what Rodgers wants. Rodgers wants out and will do to a limit I don’t think he will get us relegated but he also does not want us to do that well and the sly comments here and there about not being able to spend money and other digs at the board and fans it’s quite a situation we are in not sure how it will end but either way it’s not good image let’s hope at the end of the season we will be safe and Rodgers can go some how

Look at that Newcastle starting XI that just battered us. Sean longstaff and Joelinton in midfield, willock and almiron on the wing, schar and Dan burn in defence. 12 months ago you would have a strong case to say that you would struggle to stay up with a side assembled with those players, let alone be in the running for the champions league.

Rodgers has made players like tielemans, ndidi, soyuncu, daka etc look mediocre. Give someone else this squad and suddenly it will look good again, I can almost guarantee it.

But my issue with the squad is that it’s just not very complementary of each other and is a hodge podge that makes little sense. Not saying there’s not some very decent players in there, not saying that there’s not players in there that could become part of an effective unit again. Just saying that it’s not there right now and it’d be tough for another manager to bridge that gap too. If Newcastle had the same team playing as the day Eddie Howe joined and went onto win 1 game in his first 13 you might have a point but they don’t because they’ve rectified some key squad issues and added some real quality.

Longstaff and Joelinton are the players they are atm because Guimaraes (superb player both physically and technically) has been added. Schar has always been a decent player, stick Botman next to him and Pope behind him and you’ve levelled up enormously. Trippier adds another level in terms of experience and drive.

Newcastle actually now have a group of ~15 players that complement each other very nicely (by mixing what they already had with some new additions to level up in key areas) they’re absolute physicality monsters on a level in that side of the game with the peak Liverpool side. Largely unaffected by injury they’ve been able to cultivate a superb unit. Sure Eddie Howe is getting more from them than he probably should be just as Brendan Rodgers did for at least 2 years here.

But again on the squad thing, it’s not just about ability. We’ve got a group of players where many have got their eye on what’s next. Some key players have aged. We’ve got a group of players that has had very little fresh impetus for 18 months. There are all sorts of other factors behind the scenes as well. Just being able to spend 200m on transfers in 12 months changes the dynamic, the momentum and feeling around the football club is completely different because of the takeover.

This is an argument that comes up pretty much every time a manager needs to be sacked and yet the form almost always turns when the new manager comes in.

For me I feel that an easy fix to improve the form of this side would be to stop overplaying it at the back (for example the first goal we conceded tonight). It creates so many problems for us and yet Rodgers seems adamant that that's the way we need to play. If I can spot areas to improve our play then I'm sure an actual qualified manager would be able to pick out many of the less obvious faults in our teams game and work on them.

It just feels that a lot of our problems at the moment come because of how rigid Rodgers is with how he wants the team to play rather than happening despite his efforts to improve upon them.

It's time to go. Come on Top lad chop him fgs.

Top isn't going to fire him unless we get mired in the bottom 3 with no cup interest. The start of the season proved that. In fact, the longer it goes on the more I look at the likes of Rudkin and Whelan and ask why they haven't done more. We're a year 7 PL side yet the squad is thinner than ever, the injuries more rife, the money scarce and the impetus around the club is just stagnant. We should have been replacing Vardy and Kasper 2 years back, should have been building for 2 players in each position with academy kids as back ups. Yet here we are, decimated by injuries and facing another window with no purchases in the playing squad and a summer of massive upheaval.  Anything happening on-field mirrors the off-field and there's more people than just BR at fault with the planning side.

I suspect those voting ‘no’ are doing so because of the wording of the question.

There’s an argument (it’s a ****ing mental one) that the state of the club at the moment has nothing to do with him, because of the fact we haven’t invested in the last 18 months. That might lead people to think it would be unfair to suggest he ‘Should’ be sacked.

I think if the question was ‘do you want Brendan Rodgers as Leicester manager?’ , I’m pretty sure those numbers would be even lower.

There’s no way people can look at how he has managed this team over the last year (embarrassing results, blaming everyone but himself, continuing with grudges against certain players) and actually *want* this man associated with the football club.
