He should just walk away.. should have been sacked a year ago or so. Just for the record are the voters who said no still think he should be given till the end of the season like u said last?

If you were terrible at your job, but were going to get a years salary for being relieved of your duties, would you walk away?

I bloody wouldn't lol

Jesus, I wish this natural 18 month long down cycle would change soon. lol

Well, as I say, I wouldn't base job decisions on tonight alone.. reactionary is never good.

And playing devils advocate, you could say that he recognised 11 months ago -  ie 7 months into the 'down cycle' - that the squad needed a refresh and he was effectively shat on by the Board this summer in his refresh plans. De Ketelare was clearly lined up for example

Voted No because I genuinely think the squad is the bigger issue - have done for the last 15 months after having thought at the start of last season Rodgers was the bigger issue. I’m not saying someone else couldn’t come in and get more from them (just a fresh voice might work wonders) but that the chance they don’t is significant and getting rid of Rodgers + getting a new manager diverts resources away from sorting the squad which clearly needs as much resources as possible.

Rodgers’ role in recruitment and injuries is subject to much conjecture here and I take onboard that some of it is likely true so he’s not without blame for why we’re where we are but tonight for example he was woefully short in what he could send out against an opposition flying high.

I’m not going to be upset if he goes though. I’m a bit disappointed that the hate for him has fermented to such an extent that I’m not sure all the good stuff his teams have produced will be remembered as well as it should be.

Unless this poll is to find those who vote No to permanently ban from here then what's the point of this obvious vote lol

It gives my something to do other than shouting at the tv😂

Ok, head above the parapet. I wouldn't sack on the basis of tonight.

His summer plans were ripped apart

And his best defender downed tools and walked out

He proved in that mid season uplift he can keep us a step ahead of palace, Everton, west ham, forest and wilves

We've been unlucky not to point v Fulham and Liverpool. Both performances  warranted a point

We lost to a better team tonight. Everything is going their way ATM. And we are in a natural down cycle..it happens.. sometimes I just gotta suck.it up

Do you not value factors outside of just results?

Like how he talks down the club and disrespects the ownership and board as well as also publicly portraying Leicester City as a club that never tasted any success before he walked through the door…

What would he have to say, outside of results, for you to feel he’d crossed a line and had to go?

You could say that or you could be glad he didn't spunk many more millions on absolute dross again.

Nah I would rather keep my image then go down as fool who ran the company to the grave

It's already gone though.

Chances are you'll struggle to get a decent job and you'll only be on a quarter of your current salary!

He ain't walking, not in a million years. Considering our owners are meant to be great businessmen, they've fvcked themselves over with that contract.

It should have had clauses in it. Similar to how Man Utd could sack bosses who didn't qualify for the champions league.

I'm not expecting that from us, maybe a top 10 clause.

Yeah, they have, absolutely. But these were the matches we'd have rolled over in previously. We did well in all of them, however staunchly you're Rodgers out, you have to admit that.

I've voted out, I want change, we need change.

We're playing atrocious football now, with no plan.

But without investment, will it even make that much difference?

I'm not sure it will, I think its been left too late for a change to be more effective.  What we need is someone to put some belief, and instill our Foxes never quit Motto into the players we have.  I think BR has dragged everything down so much, that the % levels off effort are at crisis point, a change may increase that effort for the good, buy us time to stay up comfortably, and rebuild in the summer.

I agree. My point was that knee jerk decisions based on losing to a decent Newcastle side is not the best method.

His treatment of Mendy (and his exclusion from last year's EL squad), Perez, Kels, Cags, Praet is poor.

Misrepresentation of the club, talking down the club and owners. Very poor.

Failure to accept responsibility..poor.

Tonight's performance - pretty routine Not sackable. Just as a what if, say we had  peak Madders, Ricardo and Evans and arrived in the back of 4 games unbeaten. I'd have enjoyed us going toe to toe with them then.

It's fine sacking managers but you don't wanna become another Everton or villa. Only if they have someone decent lined up

Our track record isn't the worst to be fair. Even Puel steadied the decline initially and built a capable squad for Rodgers to inherit

True. Would rather we got someone on a 2 or 3 year max. But doubt many managers would go for that.

Honestly believe he wants out as well.

He needs to be paid off and to lie down on a beach for a long, long time.

He's cooked.
