StriderHiryu Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 Doesn't make sense for us to sign him. He looks ideal for the Premier League though! Someone in the mid table contingent will get him and I think he will be a solid 12-15 goal a season striker.

Vardy might be off form but in the 3 we have, we’ve got players who can find the back of the net. That said if Vardy were to retire then 2 isn’t enough. I can’t see him going past next season it must be said. 1
Saxondale Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 Every transfer window must be thoroughly depressing for fans of provincial European sides. One of your players has half a good season, and you’ve immediately got scouts from a raft of mid-table PL clubs circling. One of them will buy your player, he’ll probably do alright for a bit, then they’ll give up on him and sell him to one of your rivals. And the feeding cycle starts again. 4

Bournemouth will have Le Fee, Ouatarra and Moffi at this rate! Edit: I mentioned in the Ouatarra thread that I'd watched the Lorient v Monaco match the other night. Lorient had a number of strong, pacey players. It doesn't surprise me that someone might consider buying a job lot! Edited 13 January 2023 by taupe
Muzzy_Izzn’t Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 We’ve been fairly strongly linked with two other Lorient players… but sure, it’s this guy we were there to watch… 🙄🙄
TMELcfc Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 We may have been there, but I bet it wasn't to watch Moffi, that would be too good to be true. They must have an injury prone left back or something... 2

I don't think we'll sign one this month, but I'm sure we'll be looking to do so in the summer. 1
Stevosevic Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 (edited) We need a striker. Vardy is struggling due to his age and Iheanacho only has one year left on his deal - we either extend or sell this summer. That only really leaves us with Daka. Edited 13 January 2023 by Stevosevic

Bit like us feeding Chelsea every season (and soon Bournemouth) 1
