A general protest in the sense of 'a strong complaint expressing disagreement, disapproval, or opposition' is silly and a waste of time. Results and the league table do that

Nope. As others have said, it'll be mostly people that forget to change the manager vote. I often make the same mistake. The vast majority want him gone. 90%+
