Oh jeez, you Pearson fanboys need to put a sock in it. It's never going to happen nor should it happen!

That's the thing though. I am not a Pearson fan boy and would have laughed at a thread like this at the beginning of the season.

At the time though I had no thought of us being relegated, yet here we are...

And what exactly is your expectation for next season?

We are going to be in a lot of trouble and we desperately need somebody who has a strong will to manage us through what will be a massively turbulent time.

Depends who we get in and what players come in. No reason we can't go back up if we have a good summer, we will still be a big draw for players. Fans will want an immediate return, if Pearson needs to fanny around for two or three years bringing in the right characters, are they really going to allow him that time? I'm sure you and a few others will say yes but I think you'd be in the minority

Imagine being a fan of the person who got Leicester back to the Championship at the first time of asking, back to the Premier League for the first time in ten years, kept Leicester in the Premier League and put pretty much every piece in place for the greatest moment in the club’s history. It’s almost like this Fox talking forum has been inexplicably invaded by people who support Leicester City.

We won't be any kind of draw unless our owner is prepared to write off another £100 million to try and challenge next season.

People will look at Burnley as the blueprint for bouncing back at the first attempt but they did not have a £120 million wage budget.

For me,

Get him in as DoF as soon as possible or some similar role alongside Walsh if we can. Get a spine to our leaders above.

Happy for shakey to stay on with JT, Stowell etc... but it must be a new manager.

If we are in the heart of Nige as much as we believe and top can work this problem out, then upstairs is a must. Leading us, the club and top into another glorious push.

What I meant was that yes he is part of our history, yes he was one of our greatest ever managers, but that's history. We've moved on from there. What has he done since then? Sometimes you have to leave history where it belongs, in the past. He would come here, and  his reputation would get tarnished. That's why he won't.

As much as I love the man I absolutely do not want him back at the club.

His time is done. Leave him to the history books. We need to look at someone new with fresh ideas

Ah yes 9 years ago.

It's like wanting to play Elliot and Izzet in the squad for what they did for us back then.

And neither will we when we lose a good chunk, sell a fair few and the clauses in the contracts

Let it go lads. He is my favourite Leicester manager ever, but what's done is done. I would also argue the top of the championship has moved on.

He has literally been managing in the Championship this season. Of course he knows the league.

Hi Foxes, Bristol City fan here. I'm sad to see you in trouble.

Leave big Nige where he is please as he's doing a fine job down here. Cut the wage bill hugely, which was needed after a big overspend by a predecessor, removed all the high earning mercenaries, built a young stylish team and can now spend a few quid (not by your standards but decent for us), more if we, sadly, lose Scott to the Prem.

He comes across as excited where he has got our club and there's a real togetherness in BS3.

Can we keep him eh?

They also didn't have to service a monumental loan debt that we have from the bank. Will cost us millions in interest alone.

That's not what I am saying at all. My point is that teams that have been getting promoted in recent years more often than not are playing a more progressive brand of football.

I get the impression that the people against Pearson coming back are generally the ones that wanted us to keep Brendan for so long. Forgive me if your opinion means very little to me

No really not. Couldn't be further from the truth. I wanted BR out before the World Cup

No you’ve had your turn, let him fix someone else.
