That's because our FBs (apart from Ricky) barely cross the halfway line. That leaves both our wingers with 2 men on them, sometimes 3. The whole set up is shit.

Totally. I said that in another thread. VK will overlap at times. But Thomas never does and Fats was actually playing without a standard FB on that side. But neither looks in form and Fats is becoming a little one dimensional constantly cutting inside looking for a top corner worldie

Permenant move and played in youth team of Juventus

 

First proper top level loan at Dijon

 

3 years at Montpellier

 

3 years so far with us

 

He hasn’t been shipped about, that is like a pretty normal career

I question any English player that's spent most of their time abroad ahead of their best years having gone through several English youth academies. He wasn't deemed good enough for top level English football. Is proving so.

He went to Juventus's academy? It's not like he went off into the wildernessess of the European lower leagues, he got picked up by one of the biggest clubs around.

Fair enough,  moore says that doesn't count as it was a youth spell - wasn't deemed good enough there either then.
