You can say exactly the same about winks though. But we can win games without Hermansen… i’m not sure how we cope without winks.

...I would say Winks has to be the more influential of the two!!!

We can still play this way without Hermansen, look at Leitzig for the ladies team. You can encourage your keeper to come out and cause the overload whilst playing out at the back, but the intelligence when to hold it, see the picture and know your options are what Winks will bring, very much instincts laced with experience.

I am happy we have such a good foundation to build on, we just need Akgun to drop into one of the 8's positions to have creativity all the way up the spine.

Not sure you can?

with a ‘normal’ goalkeeper you have 10 players comfortable on the ball.

with Mads you have 11.

with a normal goalkeeper you have a back 4/5 with 1 player who can’t play it that well, with Mads you have one more.

winks being in the team or not doesn’t change that.

King power gripe.....as a non drinker who still likes the taste of beer a decent non alcoholic beer wouldn't go amiss

And there lies the biggest oxymoron ever..🤪🍻🍻🍺

Guinness 0%. May just pass at a push..

Hard to see how the season so far could have been much better.

Many of us (well, the odd one of us who still admit it) thought we'd have a rough start to things. We'd been relegated, forced to sell or release many first team players, and had to cope with a second management change.

But Enzo seems to have sorted the playing side out, we've made several good signings (an achievement in itself after recent seasons) and the team spirit is back.

I'm still pinching myself, I honestly didn't expect such a good start.

We don't even get decent alcoholic beer.

Best New Signing

Winks

Favourite Game

Blackburn

Most improved player

KDH

Most disappointing player

Doyle

Player you want in Jan

Evanillson(Porto)

Weakest position

GK, If Mads gets injured we're buggered and not in a good way.

Predicted finish

1st - 106+

King Power gripe.

DOF is still a sack of shit, jobs for the boys throughout and too many managers for managers behind the scenes.

Can you elaborate on how it would be possible to get buggered in a good way?

Just to take another perspective..with some points.

Best New Signing

Winks,….He is the centre of what we do,but we need

the others to drive us forward & compliment the whole.

So Mavadidi,worth mentioning in dispatches

Favourite Game

Let this one grow..

Most improved player

Here’s the contestable..

Mcateer, what a jump from the Academy
Ndidi, due to past posts, nobody saw this success story coming

Vestergaard…even more so than above

Most disappointing player

Many very young investments,so all should be given time..

Nacho,his early games,were a big disappointment,but seems now  to

be growing into the system.

Player you want in Jan

We searched years for CBS/ wingers, then we found an whole pack of them.

I still want that skillfull, hard bastard,Awkward in your face midfielder

Weakest position

Is present our strongest..

Does Enzo have a long term idea for cover, for Winks,if he takes a knock of

4+ games,or stuttering outages.

Predicted finish

Not yet callable..
Same path..1st 110pts

Opponents find a successfull way to play us: 86-100pts still 1st-3rd

Enzo finds no answer,to drop of form/4-6 long injuries..66-80pts top 4.

King Power gripe.

Club management lack of interfacing with fans..

Why are we creating any type of unnecessary 2ndary low management jobs..

Still pathetic food/snack faire & organisation thereof around game day..

General satisfaction.

I am more than happy, and really don’t see ,too hard a struggle, after the pleasant suprise of

creating a stable-successfull-platform.Feeling good to let season run it’s course, and ALL players

having their chance..

Its International break time, one has to dig deep, for relevant club decent debate..

The Guinness 0% just loses a little of its physical "thickness" and body and is a smidge sweeter. I just find a vast majority of the AF stuff dry, overly hoppy in taste and has a stale flavour...

And I'm sorry to say that includes the IPA's

But back to us.  Yeah we ain't doing too bad. 🤪

I think once you stay off it for a while the taste becomes normal. To some one who drinks AF and alcoholic beers I suspect they'll find it all more watery. My taste buds are used to AF now so it's not an issue. And yeah we are doing rather well 😁👍

Winks has been fantastic, but if we're specifically talking "best signing" then it has to go to Hermansen - he's so foundational to how we play.

Him being so comfortable on the ball and pushing up/out, lets us play with 11 outfield players when in possession, making it easier to outnumber the opposition, beat the press and to play our intended back-to-front style.

Never mind his great vertical passes into midfield or the long balls out to the wing.

Absolutely agree with this, but I think Winks is also extremely important to making this system work - I think if Hermansen gets injured, we're ok for a few games (we did ok with Stolarcyzk for those few games Mads missed), whereas if you take Winks out of that system, I feel like it would kind of fall apart.

Sounds like we more or less agree with eachother though, and it makes a change to be arguing about what makes us so good 😂

Not getting an elastic band to go with the clapper that they now make you fold yourself. They'll have us in a sweat shop next making the kits!
