and something a bit more serious, 'The Lonely Man' from the original Incredible Hulk TV show.

Always struck me as a nice contrast to the intro The Sweeney The Sweeney fast tempo.

Yeah, looked at a few of the YouTube comments and they summed it up well, the intro set the tempo for a thriller....the outtro a melancholic piece,  that Jack and George are fighting a losing battle

I used to hate hearing the theme music for Armchair Thriller and Tales of the Unexpected as a kid. Armchair Thriller still gives me the creeps now. 

 

Favourite has to be Miami Vice.

Being the political animal I've always been, used to regularly watch Weekend World hosted by Peter Jay then Brian Walden and Matthew Paris many moons ago. Top notch Theme Music as well.
