We made loads of money in the title and CL seasons though

The issue was that we spent it on shite in 2016

Error by Vichai tbf - Steve Walsh felt the need to live post PL win - can speculate all day why and how.

Transfer department was RUDDERless then if you know what I mean

He left because there was no progression for him. Source: Steve Walsh

I'm not anti them because they can't bankroll us, I'm anti them because they are quite clearly incompetent.

If Aiyawatt gives things a proper shake up, gets some new people in and demonstrates he's learning then there is a way back.

The odds aren't in his favour though. Given he sniped at the fans at the end of last season despite it being the tamest of criticism to the most avoidable relegation in Premier League history and let two of the main architects mark their own homework.

Spot on

Steve Walsh was never dof here despite what people think

I don't think anyone is under that impression. The general consensus seems to be that the reason he left for Everton was because they offered him that position which he saw as a step up, whereas we wouldn't/couldn't because we already had the immovable object that is Jonny Rudz working his magic

I think some sort of familiarity fatigue has taken over. They have been here for nearly 15 years so nothing new will emerge. We were reasonably well run but the last five years in particular has seen a sharp decline in standards.

A change of ownership and a fresh start is probably needed but extremely unlikely. Plenty have had enough, though, of the club being poorly run on and off the field. The absolute blind, ludicrous faith in Rodgers is the biggest cross against them and we are now set to suffer the consequences but it is never one thing alone- Chuck in the clappers, crap ticketing policy, plastic matchday experience and it adds up to fans feeling disillusioned.

I think people underestimate the impact of the loss of the Boss and Covid 19.

Lots of external distractions.

Add to the fact it was a pretty good time on the field which probably led to some compliancy.

Sustainable success for a club our size is difficult, everyone bigs up Brighton, but let's see were they are in 3 or 4 season.

Unless they somehow find a way to have us stripped of our premier league title and FA cup I put it to you that this is simply impossible.

Thats great and all but theres a good chance we might not have a club left once they are done.
