Have we had him before? Thought he had a great game. Tried to play advantage, let some tackles and dives go and to let play go on and then book a player after the play.

On a couple of occasions

I barely noticed him, which I mean is a good thing, he let it flow and didn’t make himself centre of attention unnecessarily. He did have authority though, players could see early on his tolerance level and style and seemed to respect it.

Little bit pedantic with the balloons and stoppages. But on the football front thought he handled it pretty well

I think he had to really, a Darren Bent incident would have been a real problem.

He’s the best ref in the League by a country mile, think we first had him against Watford at home, he’s been superb in literally every game I think I’ve seen him. Vaguely recall he got a Prem game (or games) for a period of time too, hopefully he makes the step up with us.

To be fair Preston are slating him on their forum.

I guess it's one of those.

If you don't really notice him then the decisions have probably gone your way and you have won the game.

It you call him out you have probably lost and feel a massive injustice and need to blame someone .

It would be interesting to see how many times fans call out the ref when you win as opposed to when you lose.

Blaming the ref is something the football fan has done for decades but generally only when you lose.

It swings in roundabouts.

Sometimes the decisions go your way sometimes they don't.

At least over time that will consistently happen.

With VAR they just seem to make the rules up as they go along.

Give me a crap ref to shout at any day of the week rather than VAR.
