purpleronnie Posted 17 May 2024 Posted 17 May 2024 Ashby Ivanhoe in the same League as Gresley rovers, never thought I'd see that.
CosbehFox Posted 17 May 2024 Posted 17 May 2024 (edited) The great unwashed of Nuneaton in my village. All the Leics clubs at Step 6 have been placed in the MFL1 division which is a decent move except the trip up to Bridgnorth. Really strong division now. They didn’t greatly restructure the MFL as expected - which in turn has given Kendal a right problem. Wolverhampton based club been put in North West Counties! Edited 17 May 2024 by CosbehFox
Tuna Posted 17 May 2024 Author Posted 17 May 2024 Gotta feel for Winterton, got more points than Hednesford and Rushden who got reprieves, yet relegated cos they finished bottom.
leicesterisme Posted 17 May 2024 Posted 17 May 2024 All the best to him, he has been a great player & I hope his next move is above rather than sideways or below for money, should be playing in the National League North at least. 1

Droitwich moving across to the Hellenic and Allscott over to NWCFL leaves absolutely no threat of more to Nuneaton, expect them to cruise that league. Wolves Sporting? To be fair, whilst it’s somewhat harsh and they won’t be happy, they’re based next to Cannock and the A5/M6, and from my reckoning even Runcorn and Stockport teams are just over an hour away, further is an hour and a half to New Mills. It’s probably comparable to Hinckley’s travel itinerary and we have a plenty of further ones in March, Wisbech and St Neots/Eynesbury.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 May 2024 Posted 18 May 2024 Darren Acton named as joint manager of the Boro. Seems popular appointment he was goalkeeper coach last season.
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 19 May 2024 Posted 19 May 2024 Coalville have made their 1st new signing, Will Atkinson from Mickleover.
leicesterisme Posted 19 May 2024 Posted 19 May 2024 Good start! Mainstay in a good Mickleover side last season
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 24 May 2024 Posted 24 May 2024 3 more in at Coalville. Lamine Sherrif Liam Loughlan Adi Yussuf Hopefully get a decent goalkeeper sorted soon to avoid a repeat of last season.

Seemingly the pull of working with JG again was too great. He was Coalville’s best player in the last 1/4 of the season and provided an aerial threat we’d lacked for a while.
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 24 May 2024 Posted 24 May 2024 Yeah wouldn’t have minded him staying, I thought he would have to be honest.
Guest Lako42 Posted 24 May 2024 Posted 24 May 2024 I just want the average age of the squad lowering from 52

Guest Lcfc82 Posted 24 May 2024 Posted 24 May 2024 Really disappointing news, as mentioned above surely should have been trying to find new owners to take it forward
LCFCJoe96 Posted 24 May 2024 Posted 24 May 2024 Same situation as Loughborough Dynamo then, the fact that two clubs like that can go so quickly is insane 1
Guest Lako42 Posted 24 May 2024 Posted 24 May 2024 Something has to have happened to trigger this. It seems utterly ridiculous and knee jerk to me. Absolutely gutting for the town and the county non league scene which is now pretty terrible. Cannot believe a resolution couldn't be found
Leicesterpool Posted 24 May 2024 Posted 24 May 2024 Whats going on at Coalville everything seem to be going in the right direction for them. Its a shame seeing more clubs quit their league.
LCFCJoe96 Posted 24 May 2024 Posted 24 May 2024 Reading the statement looks as though the other areas of the club are continuing but men’s senior is completely gone, so even a step beyond what Dynamo have done
Guest Lako42 Posted 24 May 2024 Posted 24 May 2024 Apparently non league is booming...... This is genuinely gutting news
