Not sure what has happened to the attempted passing build up play which was prominent in the first half of the season. Just total hoof ball. Bromsgrove's no.9 was an unbelievable player.

Bromsgrove's no.9 was an unbelievable player. “The wheels have come off” is now an acceptable turn of phrase. None of the players seemed to know where tf they were meant to be on the pitch, the midfield is completely absent (again) when defending, and playing Nile with Edwards as a front two has never worked. On top of which, Pennant has looked absolute gash in every game since signing - wtf is he even doing at the club? All told, I’m starting to get a bit narked with Lavs. Especially as he dug the fans out prematch in the room upstairs at the clubhouse. It’s our fault, apparently.
Seventyseven Posted 25 January 2025 Posted 25 January 2025 Harborough should have made that 7 straight wins today, missed chances, a penalty skied out the ground and a 92nd minute winner for Stourbridge when they slotted home following a good save from our keeper, which I think was his first of the game. That’s football. 1

No-one wants to win that league, 3 points between top 5. With only 1 team in the top 6 winning. Strange league. 2
Durnerz Posted 25 January 2025 Posted 25 January 2025 Good point today for Shepshed Dynamo away at Darlaston Town. Tremendous Bovril too. 3

FoxesFan#1 Posted 25 January 2025 Posted 25 January 2025 Highly entertaining game at Brackley today wining 4-1 against Spennymoor. Over 800 in was another very healthy crowd and it’s Kidderminster on Tuesday for what will be a real tough game at the top of the table. Brackley are a very well run club with a well drilled team. It’s always a tight league but they’re really punching above their weight in the NLN. I just read the ridiculous distances people are travelling to watch LCFC and it makes me so happy to be enjoying local football over PL now 1
filbertway Posted 28 January 2025 Posted 28 January 2025 Good to see Kettering continuing their recent run of not playing games. At this rate you'll get to experience the delights of the Saturday, Tuesday Thursday weeks

I think this one should be played out while we also compete in the National League N/S. 1
Daggers Posted 29 January 2025 Posted 29 January 2025 The heaviest fighting of the past two weeks Continued today twenty-five miles northwest of Congleton I really wasn't sure what was going on N-n-n-n-nineteen, nineteen N-nineteen, nineteen

A bit like the Paint Pot/Bristol St Motors. You have to field so many first teamers to 'protect the integrity of the compeition'. So teams just do this - play first teamers for twenty minutes and sub them off. 1
emmo1987 Posted 30 January 2025 Posted 30 January 2025 Coalville have re-signed Scott Mcmanus. I presume players at that level don't get paid? Good on him if that's the case.

emmo1987 Posted 30 January 2025 Posted 30 January 2025 Crikey. Whats the turnover of players like this season? Every time I see the team announced there is new players starting!? 12 minutes ago, filbertway said: Oh yeah players certainly get paid at this level. We're playing Clifton All Whites at home.
