Leicester Road players either signed on elsewhere or advertising themselves on socials. Whispers apparently originating from their playing staff that Lyne has gone. Other than Facebook posts on youth teams there’s been nothing since the end of the season.

The end I’d think.

Mitch Austin to the poppies?

His name always come up when they change manager. Would be daft to, has autonomy at Harborough, he wouldn’t there. Higher expectations, more fans on his back when not going right. But who knows.

Still owed about 3/4 months worth of money as well most of them.

There's rumours that he's going in there, but as much as I love what the owners have done there (until today), he would be mad to.

Players are now jumping ship given Lavery's sacking today.

I didn't like him as a bloke, but I think it's a pretty harsh sacking on reflection, which now leaves them in a real mess.

Mitch was asking for an opposition for a home friendly (for Harbs) 1 hour after Laverys sacking, so maybe no one’s told him!

lol I saw that.

Spoken to someone still within the club, and Lavery wasn't sacked - he walked due to difficulty in working with the owner, as have his coaching staff. Ties in with a couple of players also announcing they are leaving today due to "moral" issues.

If this is the case I’d be very surprised if Mitch rocked up there. He’s very much one who does things his way and he has the ability to do that at Harborough.

What an absolute s**t show all round. Feel for the fans that will miss out because of this. Have a soft spot for both teams. Been Oldham and Southend twice over the years and loved both grounds.

Punishing the 'little non league sides'.

Telling at Kettering, theyve signed a player without a manager.

Jersey beat Fleet town on penalties (Jersey finished 27 points above Fleet and that includes Jerseys 3 point deduction)

Redhill lose to Cobham on penalties (Redhill finished 20 points above Cobham and that includes Redhills 3 point deduction).

Kettering Chairman is a semi-basket case. Can’t see next season being anywhere near as good for them but this was always going to happen.

Beswick signing a 2-year deal is great work by Quorn and much needed. On what is comfortably a borderline Step 6 budget, and although an admirable statement saying they want to compete, Quorn have a free shot at staying up. And if they do stay up, or are mid-table by Christmas, Beswick’s stock will be enormous.

It will be interesting to see the player moves. Early rumours are of some semi-stalwarts moving on I imagine value being the bottom line with such a tight budget, every penny counts.

Have to target beating those eastern teams etc and the non midland teams, notable player drop off in them.

Speaks volumes for their achievement when you think Worcester’s budget (promoted via the playoffs) will be numerous times larger

I’ll preface this with the fact Quorn have done fantastically well and will have performed eel over their budget at step 4 to get promoted, fantastic effort all around especially from Beswick. But there’s no way it’s a borderline step 6 budget, they’d have been struggling to get out the bottom half at best with that! However I can believe it wasn’t a strong step 4 budget and step 3 will be a challenge, hoping they can get the most out of it and carve out enough points to stay up, it’s there in that league.
