The EFL must be delighted Birmingham are in the EFL trophy final  as obviously they have taken it very seriously on and off the pitch .

Most teams and fans don’t bother .

There  seem to have a right old arrogance about them.

I mean it does help if you can spend 15 million on one player

And they'll be praying Wrexham join them.

What a win for Orient. Really hope they go up again.

Go to see them quite regularly and it's great vibes at the moment. First game I went to was 6 years ago, the year after they came up from non-league. They lost 0-2 to Scunthorpe, who are now Conference North.

What do you think of Wellens?

Does he have the ability to step up do you think?

From the bits I have seen, style wise he seems to try and play quite an attractive way.

I go to the odd home game and I'm no football analyst so I can't judge but yes they play quite good football and they seem to have a great spirit and belief at the moment.

@Ric Flair Leaburn scored an outrageous individual goal today.  He's been out of form since his latest injury and hasn't been playing much but has started to look like he's getting back to his best.

Absolutely obscene with the ball at his feet at this level.

We probably aren't the right club for an injury prone player to join but I'm very intrigued to see how good he could become if he stayed fit for the next two seasons.

Can dribble, is quick, powerful and good in the air.  Really does have everything other than consistent fitness and consistency on the pitch.  I think one follows the other.  If he stays fit the kid's got a chance of playing in the prem I think.

Edit his mum Tracy part of the group that kicked Charltons hated previous owners out of the club.  I'm sure at one point she locked them out the offices or something and led the coup lol  So if she comes with him then we might be onto a blinder

I’m not sure about Miles but what are Tracy’s signing on demand/conditions?

Love this though lol

To be fair their fans in general were fighting back. Compared to our lot.

Yeah absolutely although I think it's fair to say our owners have a long way to go before sinking to the depths of Roland Duchâtelet.

He still owns the ground and training facilities and rents them to the club.  Absolute disgrace.

I see Top as more of an amiable fool than actively trying to asset strip our club.

Yeah that’s a bad situation.

Although if your two words to decribe Top are amiable and fool, mine would be arrogant and incompetent. But not an asset stripper no. Or not deliberately. Indirectly through incompetence, we will run out of assets though!

Can't argue with any of that.

Ultimately he doesn't even need to be particularly bright or competent- just self aware enough to appoint people who are.  He's not doing that so arrogance is probably correct.

Blimey late comeback from Cheltenham v Walsall.

Twice in injury time to draw .

Saw the score at around the 90th minute and had just assumed Walsall had won lol
