Such a great time for Leicester sport: women's rugby conceding 100 points against Saracens, men's rugby conceding 80 points at Toulouse, men's football conceding 4 goals yesterday and women's football conceding 4!

The defence has mostly been a bomb scare all season, disguised by the generally poor standard of finishing in the WSL.  Today is a more accurate reflection.

 

As a club, Leicester have consistently done the bare minimum and are getting what they deserve.  The squad is drenched with mediocrity.

People criticising our support yesterday but we produced NOTHING even close to that high pitched shrill wooo from them.

Hlin really should have been brought on a LOT earlier, I don't think it would have changed the result as we couldn't fight our way out of a wet paper bag in the 2nd half, it at least might have given them a bit more to think about rather than just our lightweight forward line that are easy to bully.

 

Aside from Missy, Momiki and maybe Mace (the 3 M's), I don't think anyone is having a good season, let alone great.

I would give my right leg for Rantala to return for the next league game.

The Swedish season ended nearly three months ago so she needs to get her match fitness back, but even then she could surely have managed a bit longer.  It does beg the question why she wasn't signed on the first day of the window rather than the last.  Presumably either they weren't willing to put the money in before selling Kop, or Hlin wasn't the first choice. 

 

Or just general incompetence.

That does make sense in that case, but yes, surely she could have gone in from the 60th minute at least.

Poor today, 3 weeks running conceded in the first 5 minutes.

 

Torres is still in Colombia, comes over this week. Hlin looked ok, won a couple in the air,  seems like she could link up well with Momiki and Shannon. 
 

Toni Payne ran us ragged in the 2nd half, but we simply don’t shift the ball back quick enough and lack strength at times. 
 

Cain was poor, Rantala cannot be far away now, I was told 4 months and she was injured in the run up to Villa away in mid October.

Definitely sell to buy, and with the 3 new signings, I bet they haven’t spent all of the money from Kop’s sale either.

Looks like I should have stayed in and watched the game!!

It was patently obvious from the first half that we needed to reshuffle and take control of the midfield why couldn't our management team see that?

Not many options in midfield to be honest, Pelgander out on loan, Tierney, Cayman already out there, Takarada adds nothing in any position.  
They hammered us on the transition, Cain and later Chossonotte did very little to protect those behind them, and the ball just went in behind Bott and left Payne up against Thibaud. 
 

Should have reverted to just Bott and Ale sitting in at right and left back for starters. 
 

I don’t know what Miquel saw yesterday but from the other side of the pitch, it was different to what I saw clearly!
