Full Time 4-2

Leicester City Women finish the season in 10th - same position as last season but with 2 more points

image.png.daad15b2a3f22c66a91f96a3713bf2d5.png

What’s more interesting is the gap to 5th from us has been reduced to 8pts, last season it was 17 the season before that 21 so are the rest getting average or are we getting slightly better / holding our own against the rest?

Top 4 is a closed shop so everyone else fighting to be 5th, is there any European trips for 5th?

There isn't even Europe for 4th.

Nevin, Bott and Petermann are going. 3-4 others are 50/50. Takarada is one.

I can handle those 3 going.

I still can't shake that Momiki doesn't seem particularly happy, but would be by far our biggest loss if she was to go.

Tierney also seemed to be giving off the body language of not being here next season.

Cain, we already know will be going and was very much signalling that during the game.

Rose also seems to be off from what I saw, in that she just didn't engage with any fans after the game really at all and was the first one to leave the stadium. Though I could be reading too much into it all...

Nothing new with Rose mate, she’s like that a lot of the time. Didn’t get chance to speak to Yuka, Rantala etc,

Unfortunate, she's one of my daughter's favourite players.

Overall though, it was definitely one of those end of season games where it's just an entertainer.

Didn't play amazingly, but got over the line nicely.

Momiki is the outstanding candidate for player of the season, but Ale isn't too far behind her, she's had a pretty sensational season really.

All eyes on contracts now, would make sense to have that sewn up before the Euros...

Rose is always first on the coach at away games, it feels like you are inconveniencing her if you ask for a signature or a photo. Seems a bit precious, in comparison to the other girls.
I think Ale and Thibaud are much improved in the second half of the season.

Good crowd, only 5k when we played at the Emirates last month and about 100 from Leicester.

not sure where Cain ends up as I don't see her starting for anyone better than us.

I'd like to keep Bott as she's a good full back but of you get a proper left back in Ale can switch sides

Maybe Cain will go overseas as Kirk probably has a better chance of finding work there too.

I was disappointed to hear Cj was going, Nevin not so much of a surprise. I believe Petermann is going back to Germany.

Reims were relegated and my money is on Miquel raiding them again, it’s not looking good for next season.

Still no news on Denny Draper really hope it’s nothing mental health, life changing or family oriented because she’s been out for so long.

If it’s ACL which I can’t find anything on surely there would be some sort of progress update on rehabilitation along with the odd photo, she’s no longer seen as an academy player but 1st team but there’s nothing about her anywhere.

If it’s something very personal then god bless & hope she can get through it 🙏

It’s good to see they can get 46 k in. You get free tickets for the ladies matches if your a season ticket holder apparently not sure if it’s the same here?

Saw her yesterday, looked in good spirits, walking freely whereas the last time I saw her was at the Emirates last month and she had a leg brace on.

£45 for a season ticket here, nothing free. Parking costs me more at £5 a game!

Is Cain definitely going? Seems to have finally got her form back in the last few games and we've already stood by her through a couple of nasty injuries.

We need to be building round what we've got, not starting again, it'd be like re-establishing yourself in the league with a fresh line up.

Season ticket isn’t to badly priced but might get more people interested if they did something like a free season ticket or so many free tickets a season if you she’s a season ticket for the mens games.

I think the season ticket pricing is pretty spot on really. Me and my 6 year old daughter come, so she gets in free. And so for about £4 a game, you really can't go wrong. And yes we do also then spend £5 on parking now and again, but even still, it's a fraction of the price of a men's game.

We've really enjoyed it and fallen in love with the women's game more than the Men's. Particularly disillusioned by the men's game and the price

We've had season tickets for the past 2 seasons now and don't plan on stopping for the foreseeable.

Glory to God always for everything 🙏"
