I wonder if the two are connected. Last season, they would attack and attack as games died down against tired teams and it paid dividends. They're trying the same this season against fitter teams and leaving themselves open.

Why I'm asking, break away into a league that obviously wouldn't be as financially great as the Premier league but a more level playing field and perhaps cheaper tickets etc

 

Would definitely kill the Premier league too as the remaining big 6 won't want to be part of it anymore, they can have their euro super league.
