The only issue is that Forest can finish 5th and still qualify for Europe. Unless Bournemouth can quickly get back on track, I don’t see anyone putting enough wins together to overtake them. As you can tell from this the champions league would probably relegate Forest but still.

Imagine putting a teenager in from the start...

Yes, Alves getting rave reviews at Cardiff. Build a team around the youngsters next season. Monga, Evans, Alves, Nelson. Players that will give a toss for club. This combined with a bit of experience like Coady, Winks and maybe Vardy we might do something in the Championship

Tbf, watching them get spanked 3-0 at home by Club Brugge and 6-0 at the Bernabeu to see them get absolutely humiliated would be fun.

I just want to see their egos humbled completely though.

Villa, Man City and Chelsea and Newcastle will finish above them

well they had the luck with the goal they scored

They've fallen apart like Elon Musk's sanity since the equaliser. Glorious.

Surely Newcastle and Man city being only 3 points off them and Chelsea only another point behind puts a lot of pressure on them?

I've been saying it for weeks. Villa's quality and transfer business will see them put some runs together, Manchester City are just Manchester City and always find a way and now Newcastle are absolutely humiliating them.

Even Chelsea can find a way to limp over the line, just like we did under Maresca last season.

They'll finish 7th or 8th.

Oh to support a team like Newcastle with bags of pace unlike chugga Ayew and lightweight Reid.

Every team in the league apart from us and Southampton seem to have pace. We have nothing.. no abundance of height (vesty who can't jump) no speed no physicality and worst of all.. no fight or desire.

I completely agree, but it’s not the point. Can you tell me how these clubs are able to just stay above relegation every year? I can - PSR. It’s made the gap between the Championship and Premier League too big. 2nd season in a row now all 3 promoted clubs go back down and clubs like Wolves, Palace just manage to get away with it (again).

Palace have been in this league for 12 years and have always managed at least 40 points. Not exciting but they aren't a perennial struggler. Wolves have had a couple of poor half seasons then survived quite comfortably.

The main beneficiary in recent years has been Everton.

It looks like after 26 games the league is almost settled. There's no relegation battle (no way Wolves won't pick up more points, they're better than Man Utd), Liverpool are champions and Arsenal, Man City and Newcastle are going to be top 4 which is logical based on the quality of their squads.

Wouldn’t mind Man City winning today just to go above forest on goal diff but they will not doubt lose spurs in the week they always seem to do crap against them. The hopefully Arsenal turn up against forest in the week

Forest likely will be in Europe but for a club like theirs they will be in similar situations to us.

Trying to maintain league standing with Europe and PSR might make it hard for them to buy and/or keep players without being pillaged by the big clubs. They will be forced to pay higher fees for players, big wages etc, trying to compete.

If there is one thing they should learn from us, it's to maintain focus on EPL at all time. Europe competitions are great but usually only the big bastard clubs win them. The EPL survival is a long term vision, so top half, mid table mediocrity is sadly the goal with anything else being a nice to have. Hope to build your brand, small wins (league cup, fa cup, europa, europa conference).

Having said that, I hope they fook off back to the championship one day so we can beat them again lol.

Is it bad that I hope that we phone in an absolute abortion of a performance at Bournemouth on the final day so they get Europe ahead of Forest?
