Can't see anyone beating this Barca team.

Bonmati will most likely get her 2nd straight Ballon d'Or. Which means they'd have 4 straight with Putellas's two.

Caroline Graham Hansen is also very deserving.

And of course, the always reliable Kiera Walsh

Real Madrid have improved their squad but not enough to topple Barcelona.  Slightly surprising that Barcelona haven't sold Walsh this year instead of losing her for nothing next summer given that she has told them she won't renew her contract then for what the BBC coyly describe as personal reasons.

I think Chelsea are stronger this year so might make a better fist of the Champions League and be Barcelona's biggest rival for that.

That was about as well as I've seen anyone play against this Barca team.

Let's see if Man City can repeat it in the 2nd half.

Not quite yet. They've lost a bit of their rhythm but Barcelona haven't really done much in return.

Just got my daughter and her friend tickets for the england v South africa friendly at the Coventry Bull Sh*t arena (my take on the CBS name.....sorry).   Im all for girls getting to see women play and its good that they play all around the country but I think they have the pricing wrong here.  Some seats at 40 quid for adults (ive had to pay 25 for me).  We went to the England game at the KP last year and that was a tenner each for adults and 5 or 6 for kids and they sold out.  They got it spot on.  But i think they have missed a trick here.  Its half term week against weak opposition.  Lower the prices and theres a good chance of a full stadium for the girls to enjoy.  As it is, it will likely be half full. Come on, lets not monetise the womens game to within an inch of its life like they have done with the mens game.

England women v South Africa women.  Cbs arena 29th October.

I have 3 tickets for this. Two u16 and one adult, West Stand, block 35.  U16s are next to each other, adult is a few rows back, same block. Its at the Cbs arena on Tuesday 29th.  Bought them mainly for my daughter and her friend who inexplicably said they were free but now aren't as they got the day wrong!!

£30 for the three tickets. Its below face value, I'm just hoping to claw a bit back on them .  I'm in rugby but happy to meet halfway(ish) in say Lutterworth.  Pm me.

Was a bit surprised to hear this:

Chelsea are expected to confirm the signing of the England midfielder Keira Walsh from the European champions Barcelona on Friday, for a fee understood to be in the region of €550,000 (£440,000).

I swear clubs like Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal just swap players between themselves.

I don't know if it shows clubs below like the main four haven't got the money or can't afford the wages. Rachel Daly is probably like the only top player not at one of top four clubs.

She comes across as nasty piece of work, even after this case is finished she will still be treated as 'role model' even though she's been accused of being a racist. If she's found guilty... are the WSL just going to sweep this under the carpet, I wonder?

Not sure I'd class calling someone stupid and white as racist lol if it is it then it's the racist equivalent of patting someone on the shoulder and being charged with GBH.

I'd be more focusing on the fact that she's a complete and utter knobheaded and has a terrible attitude.

Yeah but did she really need to use the term 'white'.

I expect she maybe found not guilty, think the courts will be scared of being accused of either being sexist or homophopic. Then its another can of worms.

Notice known of her teammates are coming out in support. Some are waiting till after the verdict... then once shes found not guilty they will be pours of support.
