@Lizzibee - I really don't think there is much arrogance here at the moment. Yes, maybe one or two are saying we'll win, but 99% are realistic. We are poor this season. Wanting a win, and against a fellow relegation threatened side isn't arrogance, it being a supporter. I really can't see many posts that would be a sense of arrogance. If you want to see arrogance, Check The forest lot. They are a little at the moment, but who can blame them when they are where they are and have done well.

Heck we don't have anything to to be arrogant about. Check the Cooper Out thread, look at our post match threads, just look at our games, we are not arrogant.

Ipswich have done exceptionally well to get back to back promotions, but this is too much too quickly for you I feel. You had a team last season that had a quality that would have finished top 6/7. But you over achieved as you had momentum and a really good manager and fair play, it has to be commended. To  keep up with relegated sides and one that shouldn't really have been relegated in the first place is incredible.

I would wind it in and see the bigger picture on here. We have a manager not many (if any) actually back, we are a side with no pattern of play etc....you could easily beat us on the break as Forest did. But I want my club to get 3pts to get a cushion from the bottom 3. I'm more hopeful than definitive.

So no, no arrogance here.

Despite all the Cooper out talk, win this and we could (again) move up to 12th or higher. Above Man U, West Ham and Newcastle, who don’t have easy games. Lose or draw this and it will be like last season and the season before, where we gave points to our rivals, making life hard when it shouldn’t have been after taking points elsewhere. Win this and we have a cushion and momentum. Obviously I’d prefer Ipswich to stay up and Everton to go down after they stayed up a couple of seasons ago.

Not sure what the best team or tactic is though. People have been raving about the team selection and tactics vs Forest, but we lost, so as long as we win Cooper can 10 at the back hoofball or whatever else and I’ll be happy.

Sorry - my comment was rhetorical

if you can’t see what’s different between this season and last season when it comes to the level of coaching ……

Ah you're having a go at our Super Stevie boy .......... keep going

Seem to recall @Lizzibee came on here last year and was overly defensive and fragile then, too? (S)he seems to be the exception to most visiting fans who invariably add something positive and of value to the threads.

Both teams will be firmly aware that this fixtures and the games against Southampton are majorly important games. You've got to target games like this as a win and we've been slightly better at getting across the line but only just.

I think we'll have another period of the game where we can cause them problems but I've not got a good feeling about today.

But this was largely the rationale behind Coopers selection before hand. So we are now saying he was right and those of us wanting more attacking or progressive football are wrong?

There was nothing wrong with the inverted role in the 1st half against Forest - it worked well. What happened was Cooper was completely incapable of adapting to Forests changes until it all went horribly wrong. This is why i don't like the inverted stuff being referred to as 'nonsense' - it isn't. But it does need a manager that can coach it and adapt it in game.

And for the record, a side with Winks, Ndidi and Ayew against Ipswich. Horrible.

Be very prepared for Winks, Ndidi and Ayew.  No Fatawu today is a massive blow.

Ricardo Faes Coady Kristiansen

Buona      El Khannouss           Mavi

                        Vardy

Really hope he doesn’t play Coady, he wasn’t even good in the Champo.

I'm a Tractor Boy.

I dont see a lot of arragance on here at all.

I see a lot of supporters concerned for their team which is as it should be.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow.

Somebody on here asked about pubs. The designated away team pub is the Station which unsurprisingly is opposite the Station. Funny that. Nice enough place.

But in truth Ipswich has some excellent pubs none of which are going to give away supporters any grief. (Unless you are wearing green and yellow of course).

Personally I will be in the Steamboat, 15 mins from the ground.

Have a good day. But not too good if you know what I mean.

There are to be two different minutes of applause today

Tom Tomline a disabled Town fan who died aged 54 (54th minute).

Trevour Whymark, England international, died aged 74 (74th minute) played in the great Bobby Robson teams of the 70's and scored 106 goals for Town

Thanks for the heads up - I'll be showing my respect

Dread to think how this clown will set up for this game. He probably doesn't even known himself yet, needs to wait to see which way the wind is blowing. Absolute must win game so we will probably end up parking the bus against Ipswich.

Mads

Ricky Faes Vesty Okoli (back 3 with Ricky drifting in)

winks Ndidi

Bouna Kanny Mav

Vardy

But Ipswich will be able to counter that I think easily. We are easily bullied in the middle, so that would be a place I'd take note on.

I don't think Ipswich do cagey games so this will be full throttle from the start. We need to be prepared for that, unlike other games.

Still not hopeful due to the lack of game management v someone who can manage these games.

Liam Delap has been a very good signing for them so far. If he can overcome the injuries he's picked up in the last few years then I think he'll be very competent at this level.

Hirst falls in to the same bracket funnily enough. Whilst I don't think we predicted he'd be good enough for the top two divisions, injuries seems to be his biggest barrier.

Our defence will struggle with either or both today. Old Szmodics had our number the last 2 seasons an'all ain't he?! 😂😂😂

Really hope I'm wrong but Ipswich comfortably take us apart today.
