You should have received emails on Nov 13th & Dec 17th about the AGM & elections.

If you haven't received these, please e-mail [email protected] so we can check your database record, as further communication about the AGM will be sent later this week

The same request applies to any other member if they did not receive the above e-mails

Any comment on Alan Digby’s disclosure to Foxes Trust members about how others are communicating their votes?

Can you confirm you are happy with this?

Are you genuinely expecting a response from them regarding this?

Why wouldn't they comment on the comms of someone writing on behalf of the trust, especially after feedback and comments have been raised?

I suppose it is difficult to get a tell on what will and won't be responded to as the account on here seems to be selective about the points they respond to, even when when asked directly.

Because, as you've just mentioned here, they've sometimes have avoided answering certain, sensible questions on this forum - deliberate or not, who knows.

You want Alan Digby to reply to say whether or not Alan Digby agrees with the replies being sent out by Alan Digby?

Is it too late to join and vote for change?

The motion to change the rules of the trust (so that members can recall a board member)  is not expected to be be voted on at the agm next monday  - however if you join to day it will probably be too late to vote in the postal vote on this resolution.  However,  we in the reform group aim to continue to reform the trust and that will require support for votes in the future - plus we hope to get more reform candidates on to the board as seats become available.  So please join up and helps us to continue to reform the foxes trust.  Don't forget to email [email protected] to join our email list,

Is their a Neutral person to monitor the proxy's sent to Alan?

While the board have not always welcomed our reform ideas we have never had any indication that they would do anything underhand.

I submitted my proxy vote today, and got the same reply as Daggers. So naturally I felt I should respond

’I know numerous people who have elected to vote by proxy have received responses from you with ALL with the same wording? Which I find interesting?’

Totally. There’s a fair few direct questions I’ve asked that they’ve ignored. It was the same when I was involved in group chats and meetings! We can only assume from this that @Foxes_Trust are delighted that Alan is discussing other votes openly.

Lynn here (Co-Chair)

A reminder will be going out soon about Monday’s AGM to Trust members along with an AGM pack so members can see the papers in advance of the meeting. Please watch out for it and let me know if you do not get it by Sunday evening.

If you are a Trust member and are wanting to join the meeting online on Monday (via Zoom) please email [email protected] before the end of play today and you’ll be sent the link before Monday’s meeting.

If you’re attending in person, it would be great if you could let us know in advance just so we have a rough idea of numbers for tea/coffee etc. We’ll check members off as they arrive, and the club just needs numbers for fire evacuation purposes. Club staff understand that they are not to attend the meeting discussions this year.

Regarding the data protection query, I’m not sure I’ve seen anything other than data Daggers himself posted? If there are any concerns from anyone about how their personal data has been processed unfairly though, please email me on [email protected].

All of the proxy requests that have been received by the Trust Secretary to date are also being seen by myself and Steve (Co-Chair). Thank you to everyone mailing in and wanting to take part. We are aware of the feedback on the response that the Trust Secretary sent out and we will be discussing it at the first board meeting after the AGM, which we hope to hold before the end of January.

Anyone still wanting to send a proxy vote, get it in by end of play today if possible please! (Absolute deadline 7.30pm Saturday.)

Memberships received after office hours today won’t be able to be processed before the AGM, but we hope people will continue to join afterwards as we grow a movement that the club listens to.

Looking forward to seeing people on Monday.

Great comms, Lynn!

When the Trust has posted on here in a way that people feel misses the mark there are often a flurry of replies so I think it’s important to acknowledge progress when we see it.

Setting the right expectations with club staff this year, welcoming participation and feedback, and providing absolute clarity on process. It’s a great example of steps in the right direction.

I have not shared any personal data, in this thread or elsewhere.

I shared text from an email that was not marked private and included no identifiers other than a forename.

You should have all had an email now if you are a Trust member (and we have your email address), with a link to the AGM pack: Agenda, minutes of last year, & accounts.
