He started his career at Atalanta, they loaned him out loads, now they want him back. To be honest I assume this is a buy back perhaps?

Good question. Maybe he wants to check out the USA and/or get paid more than he's likely to make in England. Atlanta, based on their history, would have no problem selling him, but if he doesn't move to the Premier League now, he may never have another chance.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but how coincidental that it’s been leaked a club want a player we want but if we outbid them and sign him, they’d sign the player we want to get rid of. 
 

Wouldnt surprise me at all if boro are planting the seeds for us.
