We've completely wasted Iversen. Not only would he not have been as diabolical an option as Ward, but instead we've pissed a decent wage up the wall and not been able to sell someone that would have been pure profit in PSR terms.

 

Not convinced Latte Lath would be a big improvement on Cannon, so quoting figures that are 5-12mil higher, makes me apprehensive.

We need an alternative to Vardy if we assume he's going to be first choice and this guy at least looks like he offers something different. Plenty of strikers of had a decent season in the Championship and been shit afterwards, and his record before last season isn't great. 

£12m doesn't buy you a lot these days, especially from the Championship when they ask for silly money so either he's either running out of contract or Boro aren't too bothered.
