smudger63 Posted 4 July Posted 4 July Alot of hype about him. Shown in small flashes that he has talent, but a lot of hard work and a very long way to go before he gets to anywhere near the level of a Premier league player. Has zero interest in tracking back and defending, and that will have to change for sure. Not helped last season, being in a squad that didn't want to be here and had lost all interest in making any kind of effort though, which clearly rubbed off on him, because he seemed to have exactly the same mind set as the other wasters by the end. 2
mozartfox Posted 4 July Posted 4 July Now let’s tie down Ayew and Daka on 4 year deals. C’mon Dufkin get things moving

Popular Post JimJams Posted 4 July Popular Post Posted 4 July (edited) To be fair I think although it's disappointing we won't see how he fares with us, and its easy to criticise the club because we want him to stay. Given the fact he could have switched clubs prior to last season and we'd have got next to fxxk all, Nyoni style, this is a decent deal on the face of it. Edited 4 July by JimJams 9

If Rudkin got a £ per step over deal then the clubs finances will be healthy in no time.

Can't see this but does it mention a sell-on clause?

Popular Post dbtcity Posted 4 July Popular Post Posted 4 July Fair play to Monga and his family as he could easily have walked away for a minimal fee… you have to imagine they’ve played some part in seeing the club get an actual respectable fee 9

He’s a 16 year old lad. He can be afforded leeway as he’s a child. Harry Winks has carried himself far worse, and he’s a grown adult. If I was Monga I would be the same why would you give us the time of day? We must be dreadful to play for, we’re ran by a carry on sketch. The last season was utterly pathetic, even bacteria wouldn’t thrive at our club. 2
FrankieADZ Posted 6 July Posted 6 July least we'll be getting the 10mil upfront....hopefully be able to get the 2.5mil add ons as well all in all 12.5mil and a sell on is a very good deal all things considered
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 6 July Posted 6 July So with the sales of Monga and BEK, I have it as we have now raised £14.5m profit. Currently on the books we still have around £20m per year. So I think essentially we will still need to sell someone for pure profit or clear someone’s book value prior to being balanced for the year. Selling Fatawu for example, for £15m will put us £3m in profit after balancing the yearly outgoings. 1
