Arsenal were a bunch of jokers under Wenger. This is the club that offered Liverpool £40M+ £1 for Suarez. Trying to be clever, they fuched that deal up and Suarez went on to score 31PL goals in 33 games. They've seemed to have learnt their lesson with the money they've spent under Arteta (1billion). Our biggest problem is Rudkin, he's going to bend over for Arsenal.

Arsenal where paying for a new stadium and when wenger joined arsenal he built a fantastic team . They still achieved champions league football virtually every season ..

 

I think its very rocky ground any of our fans calling anything about arsenal a joke when this club has been run into the ground by complete clowns 🤡

plus they won 17 trophies during his time as manager if you include the community shield. 10 without .

I was listening to Patrick Vieira the other day he said Wenger was great, but far to soft.

 

He felt they should have won a lot more, he was just too nice to the players etc.

I'm not talking about his management but more the transfers and specifically the Suarez deal. It was an answer to why Arsenal dont pay the required amount for Monga instead of arguing over a few million. Under Arsene they were always like that, to the detriment of the team. That's why so many Arsenal fans were happy to see the back of him, even after all his success.

I can believe that. Night  and day difference in approach between Wenger  and Ferguson, for example. Would Man United have won as much with Wenger? That might be a bit harsh because I truly believe Ferguson was one of, if not THE greatest managers of all time. Wenger was perhaps *just* world class.
