The defenders should've carried Stolarczyk to his car on their shoulders yesterday. They are still rancid and he was a "mentioned in the dispatches" material yesterday. Would have liked to see the diagram outlining where most of the Spurs shots came from.

Yes!! 4-2 wasn’t it ? Just have this image of Emile Heskey absolutely bossing Sol Campbell throughout the 90s.

Yep. We'd looked clueless after the Wycombe game. Even Coventry and Middlesbrough were coming into Filbo and beating us comfortably. Then Spurs turn up and low and behold we get a pretty dominant win.

And yes Heskey used to absolutely terrorise them. Thinking of the game at WHL in 96, then the home games in the subsequent two seasons.

I hadn't thought about it but you're right that we've always beaten them even when we've been terrible. It's hilarious.

The only problem is, they have 3 games against us where they came out on top and it really hurt us. League cup final and the two end of season games when we were going for the CL. 6-0 (?) at KP a few years ago but not as impactful as the other 3 mentioned.

I think that's the first game all season (Bournemouth obviously aside) where we haven't conceded a goal down Justin's side. Progress.

There were some significant issues with the goal though. Khristiansen was too far away from Porro. Faes lost his man. Justin drawn in to cover Faes and leaving the right winger in space. Defence remains an issue.

A couple of situations where it was quite worrying but we needed some luck.

The League Final was painful but we did the league double over them that season. We've had some right bashings but some lovely unexpected wins too. Lost 61 Cup Final but won at their place when they were middle of winning double. Remember a 1-0 there when Shilton saved everything. The 2006 Cup game was unbelievable at the time

Another one to add to the list! We were garbage and 2-0 down and somehow Elvis Hammond and Mark de ****ing Vries turned it round.

It's like their luck in 61 has permanently cursed them against us.

De Vries who was atrocious at the time did so well in that game, he had a page on the Man U forum (this was when they had RVN upfront) of why they should buy him!!

Yes it was more Ruud than Mark that finish.

And the 2015 FA Cup game at WHL when they got a dodgy pen to go 1 nil up and Ulloa levelled and Schlupp got the winner right at the death to win it.

I was behind the goal and it was utter bedlam. Lovely.

still creases me up that their fans have memed themselves into thinking they came 2nd.

Nice to know he still gets up their hooter. Any Spurs fan under 70 will struggle to remember their last league win. Any under 40 the last FA Cup or under the age of 23 the League Cup.

them and newcastle make me howl. they win nothing and yet have 115,000 a week going in the vain belief they are massive top 6 sides with rich and trophy laden historys. In the modern era both have had maybe 1 good challenge for the league and both fell of a cliff when it mattered.

We've won more league titles than the pair of them put together in the last 60 years.

The last time Newcastle won a sodding TROPHY, Marty McFly hadn't even arrived in the past yet.

In ten seasons from 2009/10 to 2018/19 they actually matched or beat their 15/16 points total 5 times. In other words, that was their joint 6th best season in that decade.

Absolutely remarkable fanbase.

One of my favourite ever away games this was!!! Every time I go to Spurs away we win 2-1 (twice!!). :)

Loved the time wasting

YES!

Something we've avoided for years. Fulham  at home the relegation year and to a lesser degree this year. Every challenge, every 50/50 ball anyone comes within 10 yards go down holding heads and broke up the play/any momentum gaining (more so 22/23)
