That scoreline coupled with a lack of bonus points for England and Ireland this weekend pretty much means a France win in 2 weeks v Ireland puts them massively in the driving seat out of the teams with one defeat.

I say it every year, but Cardiff on a 6N day is brilliant.

I agree

I went yesterday for Wales mini revival and am going down for the England game in a few weeks.

Right in the City centre, no shortage of places to eat and drink. Parking and Transport options. When they close the roof the atmosphere ramps up. Just a great place to watch rugby.

O'Mahony, Healy and Murray all retiring from international rugby at the end of the 6 nations.

All Irish legends but probably the right time to call it.

Enjoyed that first half. In the balance, could go either way.

Absolutely tonking in that second half, scoreline flattered us. Writing was on the wall when we didn't score any points with the pressure we had in the first 20 minutes.

Behave.

Well, yeah, the Welsh are juggling the ball on the touchline like the finest in the circus tent but Scotland are still being clinical.

If England can beat the French then I'm thinking the Scots can, though they're playing away from home.

Scotland are the Tottenham of Rugby

A defence coach nowhere near the level of Shaun Edwards completely shut them down last time out.

France will beat them comfortably.

This will end up being a cricket score but Scotland are just flat track bullies. We aren't good enough so they'll run in a lot of tries and it'll look flashy.

But it'll be right back down to earth next week when they have to play an organised, confident and capable team.

Meanwhile, an England side that beat Scotland will probably give us a much closer game purely because they aren't so explosive in the backs.

You know more about this than I do; are this French team really bucking the trend for being mercurial then?

Narh.

France probably have the three best scrum halves in the tournament.

Both Lucu and Le Garrec are legitimately world class and would start for any other country.

Lucu was immense today.
