guys if they dont change it for next season you dont need a separate phone etc. Just turn NFC off on YOUR CURRENT phone and the ticket will show with a QR that you can then share with who ever.

This will only NOT WORK if the club move to dynamic QR codes - they havent yet so i doubt they will now. You  probably wont know until the first game of the season though.

Yep agreed, I had NFC tickets in the first season and it worked really well via the method you describe.

However having a burner phone is easier if sharing with anxiety-ridden happy clappers. Way easier to share a phone than answer questions like 'are you SURE this will work' and 'so how do I use this QR thingy again' and 'so I ONLY need to show this screenshot are the gate, REALLY?' when sending a QR

Can I change the phone my season ticket is on for next season or will it just continue update on my current one?

I was mainly wondering about putting it on a different phone so it was easier to share

you can’t screenshot it, the app won’t allow it. You could take a pic off another phone and send it though.

You can. Just turn your NFC off.

Just done it....

Reason its blank is because I sold my ticket for Sunday

So logged into my online account and there are all my season tickets and any friends and family avaliable to download.

Downloaded mine to my wallet.

My daughter's is linked to my email.

Does anyone know if I log into my account on a different device and download to that phone, will it work or will it recognise that the wallet and email don't match.

Thanks in advance for any information

The nfc passes are basically a file. What I’ve done to share mine with family is, download the file on computer (otherwise it automatically tried to add it to apple wallet), then just email <whoever> the file, when they click on the pass in the email, it gets added to the wallet so when I can’t go, they can use it

My mate and his brother share a ticket as they both live away, the plan was to have a spare phone and just pass that rather than faffing about with forwarding and QR codes. Is an IPhone 5 too old for the digital tickets to work?

Can they both download the season ticket but just use one ticket at a time?

iPhone 5 will be fine. Waste of time both attempting to download the pass. Everyone has old phones in their cupboards, download the ticket onto a phone and pass the phone along as you would a plastic ticket.

QR code screenshot used to work, not sure if it will this season, although I'd be amazed if it didn't.

Any recommendations here for as cheap as possible burner phone which would do the job?

Check CEX, Tesco /currys outlet on eBay. As long as it’s NFC it’ll work.

You should be able to get any second hand one for pretty cheap. New the cheapest you could get one maybe £50?

Does the phone need to be connected to a network ? Or offline phone will do for the burner phone? Thanks

It downloads to the device connectivity not required.

Mate has downloaded the ST on the iPhone5, and it all appears to be fine. He did say that the QR code that's appeared is changing so, it seems they may have introduced dynamic codes.

If they have gone dynamic, does that require network connectivity? I'm assuming not, as there's no signal at the ground.

I think he plans to get a cheap sim to be on the safe side.

No one has ever got connectivity any where near the stadium…

Which is why i'm guessing no sim/mobile signal required.

That’s a shame re QR code! Cheers for the heads up. Yep no network required. I’m in Belfast going to golf tomorrow, the tickets are dynamic. Just put my phone on airplane mode and the tickets still load

Has anybody had their physical cards yet? My online account shows mine and family’s digital tickets to download but I opted for physical cards for my son (under 16) and dad (OAP) Worried they’ve messed this up
