Genuinely hilarious that people harp on with the "600k for Rohl or 2m for O'Neill when he gets sacked before Christmas" as though Rohl is a guaranteed success and O'Neill is a guaranteed failure. Open your eyes, as much as we hate most of our players we have one of, if not the best squad in the division. Only someone truly dreadful will have us fighting anywhere except the top of the table this season, and as miserable as a lot of you are, O'Neill is not truly dreadful. Neither is Wilder or Dyche. They'd very possibly achieve our goals this season and then next year is the conundrum. Even then there's nothing to suggest Rohl stands a better chance of solidifying us as a PL side more than the others

All history shows that with equal or stronger squads compared to Leicester City’s (Wolves had a better squad than us last season) O’Neil fails 100% of the time. Next year will be no conundrum if we get promoted. We’ll be adrift near the bottom, O’Neil will get sacked and we’ll be paying yet more compensation to a manager out of his depth. Same thing will happen with Wilder or Dyche.

he has proven he can work with youth and with Chris Powel and Andy King I doubt that would happen

So who is the ready made PL standard manager who we can attract right now that your crystal ball tells you that we won't need to be sacking in 18 months time?

Without this being backed up properly - its very tenuous. Not saying it isn't true, but if this was a wider scale issue i wouldn't expect it to stay quiet for long. Even if Dave has had genuine issues, for all we know he is a contractor/consultant whos waiting for invoice payment (name me one business that has 100% track record on these) or there has just been an admin error on either the club or his side.  Until we know there is a wide scale issue for PAYE staff then this could be anything, or likely nothing.

Yeah I don’t even think it’s true, or if it is true maybe there’s a genuine explanation for it.

im just saying he was talking about Leicester not Wednesday

Watch us get Röhl and him end up becoming as much use as tits on a bull.

Wouldn't surprise me if the club came out and announced Rohl after whatever has happened today. There's been quite a few occasions where there's been a random announcement and it's been totally different to what the media have 'leaked'

Possibly managing expectations - leak the names no one wants, lower expectations and then appoint the bloke everyone wants - fans relieved and happy

Who have Sheff Weds appointed as his replacement? That press release says their assistant has signed a new contract as assistant.

he’s absolutely right. Not getting paid would be worse than having no manager. But NOWHERE does that say it’s about Leicester. He’s stating a very clear fact, not getting paid would be worse than having no manager. He’s also likely to be referring to  the situation at Sheffield Wednesday where they haven’t been getting paid.

Fair enough. Its just the speed stuff like this gets jumped on as a serious widespread issue before we even know the details.

Saying that, with everything going on, and the (lack of) speed the club have dealt with relegation this time around, it wouldn't surprise me at all if there were cashflow issues at play right now. Again - i know nothing, but running a business I know how bloody tight it can get sometimes, especially if you are owed money.

And i have to say, if i was managing the account, having to transfer nearly 100k to Bouba's bank account would be enough to send me over the edge.

You can't announce him as manager as they have one. Maybe? So he signed under the knowledge he'll be manager in the coming days, Meaning Röhl is leaving.

Wednesday are skint there is no way they would be able to afford to extend Pedersen’s contact without some notes from us…

Rohl is on the way imo. Just a bit more patience!
