Also the bloke's been pretty clear the message is KING POWER OUT so all these suggestions now are totally pointless. Might as well waste your time on this forum by throwing a few bombs in the general chat section rather than coming up with plane messages you know are not going to be used.

By that logic it wouldn't have changed to King Power Out in the first place.

Fair enough. Just trying to make sure we use the opportunity to the max and generate proper discussion.

Not my campaign so discard my suggestion

@ozvaldo stick to your plan, sometimes you can over think these things, for fear of upset, however, like many on here, i have read page after page of people saying nothing will change if we continue as we are.

King Power Out says it all, if your not interested do one, if it's hit a nerve recognise what the message means and do something about it.

Think we'd get more happy clappers on board if it references the so called """internal review"".

Lets get three planes for Top, Whelan and Rudkin. The **** arrows.

Apparently when Leicester got beaten by West Ham there was only 2 players on the coach home the rest went on the tax in London and the manager went back to Holland !! Club is falling apart no discipline!! F**ked

There's about 1000000 messages where he's said what the final message is, go with it or don't donate. By your logic is anything ever final and is everything reversible? Brings up some huge spiritual questions for sure.

Personally I don't support the message "King Power Out"  for 3 reasons. I do support the original message though.

1. I think it will backfire and whip up a frenzy of media support from the majority of supporters who are loyal to KP due to the success of the club in the past. This will leave those protesting appearing as an irritable minority.

2. I don't think KP selling and getting new owners guarantees the club will reach the same (or similar) success as it has in the past (in other words be careful what you wish for) or even guarantee that some of those underperforming in high positions leave. The new owners will want continuity until they establish the best way to run the club.

3. The optimal solution is that for stability and as surety KP remain owners due to their knowledge and experience of the club but that they are encouraged though messaging to drastically change the club at the administration level in terms of  both the board and football department. The King Power Out message ignores this.

It’s their knowledge and experience that the problem!!! That’s exactly why they need to go!!

If he had stuck to the plan, King Power out wouldn’t be the message, just thought it was worth pointing out.

I think everyone that's going to turn has already turned.

Those that havent are your typical mongies that you see all over the Facebook pages. The ones that worship the ground KP walk on and still clap the likes of Faes off at full time.

There will be no turning the brain dead like them.

They will turn eventually.

If they can’t see the problem now it’s likely to be a critical thinking / intellect issue. If it is then some will need to see the same messaging consistently, when enough of those people turn then the rest will follow as they are only comfortable being part of the majority.

Really, is that necessary.

100%. Boom.
However.  I shall message donors via Go Fund Me directly to see if they want a refund. So that may push us back a bit.
There will be a time limit on requesting one as I've got a life and job to get on with!

Thanks all who have contributed and supported.

cheers.

Literally went to donate and saw it was at 100% (so let us know if it drops back). I think that clearly shows there are plenty of people willing to put their money where their mouth is

This is the level of intellect behind the King Power Out message.

What a waste.

Much as it pains me to say it about a cult hero, but Ian Marshall is a moron who would probably believe it was raining bitter if Rupert Lowe said it was. Take any hearsay he repeats with a pinch of salt.

not overly keen on the message but fully understand the opinions of others.

I would have gone for - Vichai's Dream Nightmare

Have Top think about the his fathers legacy and the direction of the club now.

Fair play for sorting, these messages need to be put across.

Same here @ozvaldo. I donated to the van, but have been staying away from all things LCFC recently as it's affecting me more than it should for a 30 something bloke.

Will definitely donate if refunds cause it to drop back.

Displaying exactly the same sort of attitude we criticise the club for in relation to how they treat us supporters.

Apart from it being completely ineffective as a message, can we talk about the fact that King Power are not going? It isn't happening whether you want that or not. Too much money, too much legacy and sentimentality. We can't control that.

Focus on what can change. The personell surrounding the organisation.

'King Power Out' doesn't change things. It's swatted away like an annoying fly.

Rotten From TOP to Bottom stings. And leaves the door open to action to address what will be perceived as a bigger majority believing that Top isn't fulfilling his duties competently, in the shape of the staff he surrounds himself with.

The buck stops with Top, but the problem is unwavering trust in the inept Jon Rudkin and Susan Whelan.

You correctly call them inept so by the same token, do you think they'd have the competence to understand anything with the slightest bit of nuance?

KP out is a direct challenge and one they need to hear. Lots of the project reset stuff (incorrectly) focused on Rudkin which is easy for Top to palm off as stupid football fans not knowing what they're talking about. And the worst bit about that, is that he could be absolutely right since we have no idea what Rudkin actually does or who makes the day to day decisions. But what we do know is that Top is ultimately responsible for everything and he's struggles with criticism so demanding KP leave will hurt him more than you think.

Raising the money in less than 24 hours is phenomenal. THIS shows we care about the future wellbeing of our beloved club.

The problem with 'Rotten From TOP to Bottom' puts an emphasis on 'TOP' being in capitals and therefore trying to cleverly call out Top.  The issue is - the plane banner letters are all in caps, so visually it won't stand out and won't have the desired impact.  It's a great line, but it won't work within these parameters.  However, could it be used within the stickers / other on the ground initiatives??? - Could be an option.

'King Power Out' is short, sharp and to the point. And it'll hurt Top on a personal level.
Will they actually sell up / leave after one plane flies over?  No, probably not.  But this message needs to hit home in a way that makes Top wake up and stop ruining the legacy his dad built.  Most of us who are behind 'King Power Out' wouldn't care in the slightest if Top and King Power stayed - as long as he pulled his finger out and lead the club properly.  But in order for him to wake up, the message needs to be severe.  And that's the decision.

cheers.

What will come across as a minority wanting completely rid of KP, is not going to wake anybody up. It'll be disregarded as reactionary, entitled, fickle rubbish. (I know that it isn't that, but that's how it will come across and how it will be reacted to).

Instead of caps, can 'Top' be underlined? Or as with your proposal example, the word 'Top' being a different colour to the other words?
