They've always been a weird outfit. Had tonnes of investment so guessing they may have sorted things out.

Design wise though I'd expect European umbro to be less exciting than world clubs.

Like it more colour than the usual plain they turn up it. Perhaps too much blue again... the kit kind of flags the union jack rather the England colours. However its 7/10 for me, its an improvement.

The new Port Vale, 150 year anniversary kit is very '70s retro, even the badge is replaced by a simple PVFC design. I like it.
