I just hope those few thousand that didn’t renew comprise a lot of the whinging old gits who suck the soul out of the place.

Right, so it's all the fault of the older fans, I must remember that...

Think you have to bear in mind, there will not be many clubs that have as low as a renewal rate as that in the country (as high as it seems!)

Ultimately though good to see the youth numbers boosted. Badly needed

If ageism was treated as seriously as racism there would be plenty of banned accounts on here!

Its bittersweet really. On one hand it's great we will still have good attendances, but on the flipside it hardly screams the fanbase is unhappy with the club.

Lets be honest, we were bound to sell out regardless of the ownership. For those that turned their backs you've got plenty of people wanting a season ticket for the very first time.

Good to see Junior numbers boosted.

Seeing as the just put rail seating in areas where people already stand it's hardly surprising.

True, still thought you’d have more people moving out of the singing section who have just “put up with standing” because they didn’t want to move out originally.

They did from the screenshots I saw, the G1 area was basically completely empty when the relocation period started. Don't know about the other areas though.

It's the silly wanabee ultras that turn up 10 mins before kick off sing a couple of songs that pixx me off. Usually disappear at half time and return for the last ten mins. Can be any age

But that’s because the fanbase is bigger than the Stadium. It’s important to remember that and important to remember if times were better it proves this club can have 30k season ticket holders east

I'm an old git and I'm happy to leave behind all the middle aged whining gits that sat near me and hope that whoever took my place enjoys and sees as many highs as I did and perhaps not so many lows.

Enjoy the season whatever your age and I sincerely hope it's a big success.

My 11 year old has his first season ticket finally.

He's over the moon, poor thing.

That’s positive then, hopefully G1 is more active this coming season.

Expectations need to be curtailed. Throughout most of our history there have many lows (I've experienced many of these over 55 years) punctuated by a few highs. The seasons following promotion in 2013/14 were unprecedented, and not usual. However, the highs always seem far better when you've experienced the bad times. It would be boring to follow one of the "big" teams expecting success every year and being disappointed every time they finish below 4th place.
