Still think about that 3-3 friendly game against Fiorentina - what a game that was lol

Was 7 years old for this, chundered all over the Carling stand shortly after KO, old man had to take me home.

Knew the pre match beers were a bad idea

Shame no discount for members but £20 not a huge amount in 2025, cinema bowling even swimming would cost that, I’ll be attending even if just for the home point.

True enough.  I dont watch or go to friendlies simply because i dislike the lack of meaning and intensity but that's just me.  Some people will want to go

But Yes, I dont think 20 quid is much these days for an afternoons entertainment for an adult.  I pay 25 ish for me and kids to have a game of crazy golf up Blaby for an hour or so. I mean, granted,  we dont go red in frustration, foam at the mouth and scream "you useless f**@#r" at each other  when we miss and threaten never to come again.......so there are differences 🤣

Cinema is £5, Bowling about £7 and Swimming is about £6 so unless you mean you could go bowling, swimming and the cinema for the same price of watching a pointless friendly then i dont see your point.

The Tickets should be £10 season ticket holders, £12 and under 12's go free.

These fixtures haven't sold well for a very long time.

The club should look at them as a loss leader. Take a financial hit to have it sold out - push the fanzone, make it a community day, possible double header with the Women's team, really use it as an opportunity to get access for the game out of there. They won't though - either they don't want to push it or the powers that be above their heads simply don't want to get something going.

I know it was the first home game post Covid so maybe that helped, but I remember Villarreal being fairly full... The night Fofana snapped his leg.

We haven’t had a KP preseason since have we? They’ve all been at Derby or Chesterfield etc.

Played Sevilla in 2022. 15k attendance apparently.

Those things are fun.

Compare it to something similar like being waterboarded or taking your dog to the vets.

Why would anyone pay £20 to watch this?

I guess its people who rarely go, it's their chance to see leicester.  Or fans who are obsessed about never missing a match.

I have zero recollection of that.

Last time Schmeichel played I believe. Was the day the England women won the Euros.

Selling terribly. Even B2 is wide open

There's still 6 weeks to go.

I'd imagine most people who are going aren't rushed to get them as there's no risk of it selling out.

Mostly this, also i've been taking my friend and his young lad to a few games, so far an U21 game and the QPR cup game... it's just a bit easier and easing him into the matchday experience.

Similarly my little girl is 4 and probably still a season away from me taking her but i'd deffo choose a game like this as a first trial.

I would suggest some British based fans will be there yes and a few die hards.

Would love to see 3000 die hard fiorentina fans there like rangers at Birmingham a year back

A huge opportunity for some positivity in the fanbase for what will be less than a drop in the ocean financially. No reason it couldn't be free for STH's, free for U18s and then £5 for anyone else.
